Zara hadn’t realized how nervous she was about inviting Archer and Isabel to dinner until she received an email from Logan telling her Archer had been keen to accept, had texted Izzy, and she’d said she was looking forward to it.
Zara breathed a deep sigh of relief. Step One satisfactorily accomplished. And the fact Archer had checked the arrangements with Izzy sounded good too. It seemed as though he valued her opinion and wanted her to be happy. Sometimes when one partner accepted on behalf of them both it meant that person was totally in tune with the other. It could also mean one person was an asshole and she definitely didn’t want to run the risk of trying this s****l adventure with a manipulative person. So far, so good, she told herself.
