Chapter Four The day was sunny and mild with just a slight breeze as they moved up higher and higher, until they finally reached the top of the waterfall. The view from the lookout was pretty. The view from above the waterfall was a spectacular, three-hundred-sixty-degree panorama of the countryside. “It’s always different, always worth the hike,” said Logan, bending forward, hands on knees, to catch his breath. “Awesome indeed,” panted Izzy, dropping onto the grass and running a hand through her tumbled brown curls. Archer flopped beside her on his back, one arm shading his eyes. “Hard to believe we’re only a half-hour’s drive from the city. It looks so tiny and the hills appear so big.” Zara sat cross-legged on the grass and handed everyone a bottle of water. They looked at the view
