ASH's POV The smell of bacon hit me before I even opened my eyes. My body was heavy, weighted down by sleep, but the warmth against my chest wasn’t from a blanket—it was from her. My arms were still draped over Cordelia, one leg tangled with hers. At some point in the night I must’ve knocked out, clinging to her like she’d disappear if I let go.
