Chapter 13: Werewolf’s KnotAfter the talk with Jane, Imra accepts that there are two things that could happen with Lord Connor. One, he ends up being a traitor and will use her in his plan to overthrow his father and crown himself king; Or two, he is telling the truth and Leo is coming for them.
Since the first thing has not happened, Imra continues to hope for the best. In the meantime, they act like nothing's wrong. Since Jane is unable to return to the barracks with everything that's happening, she's taken to accompanying Imra everywhere.
Imra is worried that her presence would cause Lord Connor to spend less time with her, but she didn't need to worry about that at all. Lord Connor is too busy preventing the kingdom from falling into chaos. He does, however, make time in the evening
