Six – A Simple Task Archie! That's All!
Everywhere Debra went, Madison was there acting all goofy goody typical girl. But naive Debra never got suspicious of her, nor noticed her fake character. To her she believed people could change in a drastic time, just like a part of her was still wishing her mother could change her mind and come for her.
Deep in the king's residence, at Madison room, her face swelled with rage, pacing her room, as she suddenly slumped on the bed.
“I can't get close to him because of that witch!” she clenched her fist.
“My skin crawls whenever I'm with her, damn it! How long do I have to keep up with this,” She yelled at the top of her voice, smashing the tea cup she held on her hand against the wall, shattering to tiny pieces on the floor.
“It's always Debra! Debra! Debra! Kings Shadow this! Kings Shadow that! Ahhhhhh!” She yelled out aloud, her voice could have pulled down the room if the walls weren't strong enough, her hands running through her hair in frustration.
“I need to think of a way fast, just some way for me to get close to him,” Madison sputtered to her, her teeth biting on her finger nail, as anxiety curled up in her.
“Think Madison! You are smarter than this!” She cooed herself, tapping her hair gently.
A smirk instantly swelled up across her face, as the most brilliant thoughts brushed through her mind, her eyes shifted to her crystal white wolf eyes, as her hair dazzled in the air, with dark smoke surrounding around her, slowly taking a closer step to the mirror.
“Ohhhh my little Kings Shadow! Are you sure you can take this,” She grinned in enthusiasm, as dark vein-like lines creeped around her cheeks and hands.
***** At the tower of Dan******
“Lady Madison, I didn't know you were still around in the Silvermoon,” Wizard Archie said with a warm smile brushing through his lips, as he opened the door.
“Aren't you going to let me in before asking questions?” Madison said in a calm voice with a smile that didn't reach her eyes.
“Pardon the old man forgetfulness, please come in my Lady Madison,” Wizard Archie said, swiftly making way for her, her legs tinged on the floor In soft rhythm.
“I was making some white porridge, let me get you some,” Wizard Archie said, gently walking to his old tiny kitchen.
“No need Wizard Archie, perhaps a little water will be okay for me,” Madison demanded, gently cutting him off.
“Alright if you say,” Wizard Archie replied, walked to the kitchen, and swiftly returned with a chilled glass of water, placing it on the table beside the seat Madison sat on, as he sat down on the seat close to hers.
“I know you are wondering why I'm here, Wizard Archie?” Madison asked, taking the water, and sipped a little quantity.
“I will go straight to the point,” She blurted, her finger tips playing around the edges of the glass.
“I need a tiny little favour from you,” Madison sputtered, gesturing with her finger with an upheaved brow at him.
“Anything my lady asks for,” Wizard Archie replied, with a bright smile.
“We all know forbidden magic is abolished by our new king, right?” She asked, as the Wizard replied with a nod.
“I need you to accuse Beta Brandon of using it,” She demanded, her eyes widened in excitement.
“That…. That's abominable, that's telling me to be the reason he will be killed and living with such painful guilt,” Wizard Archie asked, his voice dropped with disappointment, the little smile that once marred on his face brushed off instantly.
“I'm 100% or Perhaps 78% sure your hands aren’t clean either,” Madison blurted, her fingers playing around her glass of water.
“I will never do that Lady Madison” Wizard Archie affirmed, standing to his feet, his face consorted with disheartenment.
“Do you know what you are asking for?” Wizard Archie thundered, his voice racking havoc, glaring deeply at Madison who didn't flinch for a second.
“A simple task Archie! Just a little simple task, that's all!” Madison snapped.
“It won't take away your skin or breath,” She spatted in a condensed tone, gently setting the glass water down on the table.
“Lady Madison, you have overstayed your welcome,” he declared, “Please leave this instant!” He commanded his hand pointing at the door.
Madison rose to feet, her face laced with a skin crawling smirk, her eyes blazed with fury, as she fearlessly took a closer step at Wizard Archie.
Her eyes immediately shifted to crystal wolf eyes, her hair began to dazzle in the air, dark smoke rushing out from her feet surrounding her.
“It can't be!” Wizard Archie exclaimed, fear towing down his spine, “How did you learn the forbidden magic of Odeon?” He blatantly asked, slowly taking steps away from her.
Madison quickly grabbed his throat, her grip tightened strongly around his neck, abruptly hitting his back to the wall, “you should have accepted when I asked nicely, Do you think I'm still the Madison that played in your garden?” Her voice filled with anger.
“You must do my bidding at all costs!” She spouted, as a bright red vein creeped out in her crystal eyeball, abruptly her hands reached for Wizard Archie cheeks, her fingers pressing in deeply, as she opened his mouth wide.
Black creepy smoke hands pinning his legs to floor, his hands freezed like blood has been restricted to flow in them, struggling to breath.
Maddison opened her mouth, creepy white frost smoke gushed out rushing into Wizard Archie's mouth, instantly erasing his memory and planting the memory she wanted into his mind.
Archie dropped to the floor unconsciously, as Madison scrambled her feet on the tiles averting towards the door leaving his tower, as the door slammed behind her, back into the hallway leading to her quarters.
“Madison?” A soft raunchy voice called her, she immediately paused realising who owns the voice, rolling her eyes sacratically before turning, “Beta Brandon?” She called, with a raunchy tone, as a fake smile brewed across her lip.
“You look tense, did anything happen to you?” Beta Brandon asked, staring at her with a bombastic side eye.
“How is that your business?” Madison sneered at him, her face dripped with dread.
“I don't know what you are planning Lady Madison, but something is definitely fishy about you, just make sure you stay clear away from the Kings Shadow path,” Beta Brandon warned sternly, his face laced with unwavering seriousness.
‘If I were you I would be worrying about myself instead,’Madison muttered in her thoughts, scoffed and walked away without a word.
*********
“Why did you request my presence?” Alpha King Steven asked, his patience running on a tiny thread, slowly tapping his leg on the floor.
Wizard Archie crumbled to his knees, His eyes pale, “There had been a source of forbidden spells around you,” Wizard Archie spouted out.
Alpha King Steven clashed his palm on the table, “Who that?” He raged in a thunderous tone.
“Is Your…..,” Wizard Archie didn't finish his utterance, when Brandon eyes met his, he senses that Wizard Archie was not in his right senses.
“Are you Okay Wizard Archie?” Brandon quickly asked, crouching down to his level, his hands resting on Archie's mouth.
