Keira stepped out of Amelia’s room and headed toward the eldest child’s bedroom.
The moment she entered, Louis looked up in annoyance.
“Hey, i***t, you’re here. Go check on Amelia. I heard her scream just now.”
Keira nodded without a word.
“Okay.”
She turned as if to leave, took a few steps, then stopped. Slowly, she looked back at her
“Who do you think you are, ordering me around?” she asked calmly.
“Are you out of your mind?” Louis snapped as she rose from her chair and strode toward her, her hand already raised to strike her as she had countless times before.
SHe never reached her.
A knife flashed through the air and buried itself deep in her chest.
Louis staggered backward in disbelief, clutching at the handle.
Keira closed the distance before she could react. She ripped the knife free and plunged it into her again… and again… and again.
Her cries grew weaker with every strike until she collapsed onto the floor.
Without hesitation, she drew the blade across her throat, ending the struggle.
“You know,” she said coldly, “I could have made your death much more beautiful. Unfortunately, I don’t have the time.”
Leaving her lifeless body behind, she walked to Luke’s room.
Luke lay on his bed, lost in thought, unaware of what had happened in the rest of the house.
Keira sat calmly on the edge of his bed.
“You know,” she began, “with that ugly face of yours and the way you’ve always looked at me with lust, I’ve let your sins linger for far too long.
She smiled faintly.
If am in the mood I could have love to see you, fight for your life.
“But I’m not interested in watching a weakling struggle. Besides, your mother and I have a long night ahead of us, and I don’t want any distractions.”
Luke stared at her before scoffing.
“Have you gone mad? Who do you think you’re talking to? Do you want to die?”
He took a step closer, his expression twisting with anger.
“You think I don’t know you’ve been sneaking out late at night? Is that what’s giving you courage? Let me teach you a lesson.”
The moment he lunged, Keira moved.
A s***h of steel cut across his arm before the blade carved deep into his side.
Luke let out a scream that sounded more like the squeal of a slaughtered pig.
He tried to stumble away, but Keira was faster.
The knife swept across his throat, silencing him almost instantly.
“I don’t want you disturbing the neighbors,” she murmured.
She drove the blade deep into his chest one final time.
Luke’s eyes remained wide with shock, frozen on her as the last breath left his body.
Keira withdrew the knife, wiped the blood from the blade, and walked out of the room without looking back.
She made her way to the kitchen, calmly preparing dinner as though nothing had happened. She arranged the dishes neatly on the dining table before taking a seat.
Now, all that remained was to wait for the last person in the house.
Her mother.
The night was still young.
