Chapter 7. First Gamble

As Red was approaching the commotion he look down and saw people drawing their spear and swords. "Jane it's the princess!"  "Before you go down would you like to prepare for a battle?"  "Hmmmm... maybe not today Jane! I don't want to make a scene"  Red was still looking down and then king Austin and her wife stood up "What are you doing!!! Guards!!!!"  

The knights then came out behind the kings throne and draw their sword at prince Pentoli and his guards  "Well, Well, Well you haven't change a bit don't you Austin!!!!  I'm going to over threw the kingdom and I will have your wife and this kingdom and I will execute you like what your father did to my father!!! He executed him cutting his head off right in front of me!! and I will do the same to your daughter!!"  "Are you mad!!! This is the kingdom of Merelda and you will not have this kingdom in your hands!!"  

Both king's argued then Dereck raised his right arm and  ordered his assassin coming behind Austin her daughter saw it "Father!!!!!!! behind you!!!"   As the assassin was about to kill Austin a rope like nerves was glowing and it the end of the rope there was a blade sticking out of the assassin then the rope retract dragging the body of the assassin to where it came from.

The people inside the dining hall look up. The women's in the dining hall screamed and pointed at Red who looks like a creature.  Dereck then looks up "Guards!!! Kill that creature!!!"  Dereck's guard then throw their spear at Red but Red avoided them. Red then let go and landed on the floor and shake the ground.

Austin and her wife rushed to Red to aid him, but they were stopped by their guards.  Liana saw Red to with shocked on her face and even the maids were also shocked.

"Everyone kill the beast!!" - Austin's knight 1   "Don't he's an ally!!!"  The knights look at King Austin but King Dereck continued his order to his men. "Uhhh!!!! Jane I need help here I still don't know how to control my abilities!!!"  "Stop whining!!! So that I can help you!!!!"   Jane then took over Red's body then one of Dereck's guard  charged at Red but Red was faster he grabbed his neck and rise him up while choking him to death. Red was looking at the man and realized that he was that powerful and strong. "Hey Jane can I take over?"  "Sure I was getting annoyed by you who always need help!"  "Well I'm Sorry!!"

Red took over his body "I hope I'm doing this like the movie I watch!!"  Red then forcedly choked the man to death and threw him away like garbage  "damn I feel like a beast Jane!!"  "Heh"  Jane smirked at Red

"You filthy beast I'll kill you!!" Dereck's men stab Red with his spear  "Red!!!!!" - Screamed Liana and she cry and broke down like he was her only friend. 

"Wha!!!!! I though I died but didn't feel any pain!"  "That's because you have been modified to not feel pain and emotion!! you i***t!!!"  "WOW!!! Gotta love this new body of mine huh??"

Red then remove the spear that stab him and threw it he then looked at the man who stabbed him and grabbed  him Red then transformed his right arm into a claw the man was terrified "What in god's name are you!!!"  "I am Death!!!!"  Red then stabbed the man "What are you all looking at!! Kill it!!"  Dereck's men charged at Red but Red was more Dangerous than them. 

Red then transformed his claw into a blade that was bigger than their swords. Red  then charge at them, slicing them into half like butter. Red kept mowing them down one by one, "Retreat!!!" Dereck's men retreated back behind the walls "You cowards! Go back here and fight" Dereck's men were terrified at Red but Dereck draw his sword and charge at him "ARghhhhh!!!! I will have your head!"  "Father!!!!" screamed Pentoli at Dereck but it was too late Red grabbed Dereck's sword and gripped it. The sword  have cracks so Dereck let go and Red broke his sword into pieces. Dereck fell down to the ground and crawling backwards "King Austin please help me!!!"  Austin look at Dereck who look so pathetic finding for help but Austin close his eyes "Princess!!! Tell your guardian to stop!!!"  Liana ran and hugged Red to stop but Red was confused "Princess!!! Please move!!!"  "No!!!"  Liana keep his ground to stop Red from killing more people.  Austin then stand up from his throne "Dereck!!! Leave my palace at once if you still want to live!!!"  Dereck and his son Pentoli and his other men grouped up with fear in there eyes.  They left the hall and went home as fast as they can to ran away from Red.  Red now was satisfied and turn back his claws into hands.  "Princess are you hurt??" said Red to Liana with a soft voice but his voice was still creepy but Liana knows how Red feels for him. "Yes Red I am alright as you see" said Liana to Red with a smile

Red then look back at the king and walks toward him but Austin's knight blocked him "Captain let him be!!"  "But your majesty!!!"  "I said let him be!!!"  The knights let Red pass.  As Red gets closer to Austin  "You are not a king are you!!!!??"  Austin eyes grew wider with fear in his eyes  "Ho- How did you know???!!!  Tell me!!!"  "As I save your daughter from the other people they were noble with the same banner as one of the their soldiers was holding but it has a different meaning!! Now tell me what continents is this!!!" 

Her wife Nirvana nods with disappointment  "We are a noble Red we have lied to you that we are a kingdom but the Real king is a scum that wants everything he is a very greedy man that is why our soldiers were small and the invaders attack us and we are the lowest ranking nobles but we still want to protect this domain of ours and save the people from here!!! Now you understand of why we use you to defeat the enemies!!"  Nirvana holds Austin's hand while shaking because he lied to Red. Even the town people know and even her daughter.  "And my daughter will also go to the school of magicians were the age of 15 must attend!! It is required to all nobles and royal families to attend"  

Red then turn his back at the couple and walks toward to Liana "Where are you going !!!! Why are you walking towards to my daughter please!!! Don't hurt her!!!"  Red ignore him.  

Red then reached Liana and bent down "Farewell Princess!!"  Red ran away without any hesitation "Red is it ok to leave her?"  "I don't mind remember Jane that I need to learn more about this world more that her that I have been keep lock up by her!!"  Red kept running because he has no limit to his stamina.

Red Reached the town but he didn't want to cause a commotion he used the roof of the houses and kept running until he reached the last wall.  He then jumped down with a force and created a crate and a small quake which the guards felt  the guards at the wall saw a dust fading.  "Jane take over my body and take me somewhere I cannot be seen!!"  "Ok but if there are hostiles I might kill them"  "That's ok  because I'm not part of this world so I might kill all who goes on my way!!"
