Steel had followed Callaghan into a backroom office, which was a small but cosy place. It had a secondhand desk Callaghan had probably gotten from one of the antique places scattered about the city. Photographs of Callaghan and his adventures hung on the walls in cheap gold frames. Since settling down to a new life, Callaghan had married and had several kids. ‘So, Johnnie boy, what do ya need?’ Callaghan asked, pouring two cups of coffee from the machine next to a printer. ‘I’m looking for someone who lives in Amsterdam. I need to find them quickly, and I know you have eyes and ears all over the city,’ Steel said with an impressed smile on his face.
