Steel had gone back to the room and showered before putting some fresh clothes on; INTERPOL’s little surprise visit had prevented him from doing so earlier. He packed and was ready to check out of the hotel, but not yet. He would be leaving for the ferry in a few hours and meeting up with Pat and Graaf in Hoek van Holland.
