Simms walked into the elevator and pressed the call button, then wiped his sweaty palms on the legs of his trousers. He was starting to get nervous. Ever since he’d started this case, he’d been on edge. But this wasn’t like the other times; there was something more deadly. A hidden enemy—and worst of all, one who wasn’t just playing them, but using them as puppets. The elevator stopped on two, and the doors slid open.
