CHAPTER TWENTY-ONE Steel felt tired, even after he’d gotten around three hours of sleep. But, of course, that was before the nightmares woke him. Still, the memories from the mall explosion continued to haunt him as if his consciousness were trying to tell him something. Steel almost missed his old nightmare. At least there, he could see his beloved Helen again. Steel changed into the new onyx-black suit he had bought the night before; the old garments had gone to the laundry in the hope of removing the smell of Falkner’s burning apartment.
