CHAPTER FIFTEEN Automatic fire-extinguishing systems kicked in, spraying the entire area with thick white foam. Toni’s skin tingled and stung from tiny cuts and burns. Sounds were muffled, her ears ringing. Even so, she could just make out the many pairs of feet converging in their direction. “That would be our cue to exit.” Mate said.
