Riley POV It's raining outside. I can feel the chill in the air, feel the wind in my hair. The sun has disappeared behind the clouds. It's gone from being a bright sunny day to a more depressing one. It suited my mood. I tightened the shoulder of my backpack and walked slowly, kicking stones into puddles. My teeth chattered, my hair plastered across my forehead, but I didn't care. I was in no rush to go back to that packhouse and pretend that everything was okay. I was in no mood to face my parents or my sister again.
