CHAPTER TWENTY-ONE Blaise and Lamisi had spent the taxi ride back to the hotel in silence. He figured she was all talked-out after the hours spent with her friend. He’d intermittently watched French-speaking television shows and listened to their conversation. Most of both had been lost on him.
