Varonno could not get a wink of sleep after the funeral. He tossed and turned until the late hours of the night and the little shut eye he did manage to get was plagued by nightmares. In the end, the ranger resorted to walking the lone castle corridors. He felt oddly at home here, it reminded him of the keep of his own father. As he reminisced about it an odd light caught his glimpse as it shone brightly from under a door. It was of a deep and cold blue hue. Intrigued, Varonno approached and pressed his ear to the wood, listening in.
