Gemma’s POV
I take my handsome mate to my room so we can talk. I have some stuff to tell him before he decides if he wants to accept me. We sit on the chairs in front of the window and stare at each other for a while.
“Tell him Gemma. We will be okay either way” Bree says
“I may lose you, your mate” I almost cry to her
“If he doesn’t want you, then I will deal with you. You are my best friend. We got through that terrible time together and we will get through this together” she says, sending me all her love and support
I eventually break the silence.
“Patrick, I want us to get to know each other before accepting the bond. I have been through some stuff and have a lot to tell you. Once you hear what I have to say, you may change your mind about accepting me”
