** Narrative It's been a few days now since Idris became the Alpha of his pack and he's been as busy as heck with all the transition that followed after. This morning though, he's at Raquel's room where he spent the night. She stirred and turn to him with a moan as she wraps her arm around him. He peeked at her, raising his arm from his forehead, frowning at her as he realizes it's already sunrise. He carefully removed her arm and slipped out of the bed then tiptoed to where his pants are on the floor and wore it. "Hey baby, up so soon?" Racquel uttered groggily. He rolled his eyes while buckling his pants on but did not answer and kept his back against her direction instead. He picked up his chair from the daybed on the foot of the bed. "Me and my girls are going to the bar tonight, care to come with me?" He was annoyed at her mimicking a child-like voice and he couldn't hide it when he replied as he headed for the door. "Are we not a little old for that by now though?" Before she could answer he shut the door behind him and went straight to his room at the other end of the hallway. Once inside, he felt relieved to catch of what's very little left of that breathtaking lemony-fresh scent in his room. 'You're repulsive! Just wait till mate comes back!' Minos scolded him. "Shut up," he muttered then blocked his wolf. He went to shower and when he's done, went down to the next floor to his office where his Lee, third in command is waiting. "Hey man," as he walked in, he went straight to his chair and scooped up the folder on his desk. He started reading the documents inside it. "Morning, Alpha. Apparently it's classified information," Lee referring to the papers Idris is holding. The latter, taking a deep breath from time to time while reading the files, obviously bemused. He was reading the agreement between his father and Aurora. He was surprised though that his father offered her a position to be his private omega upon her return. Aurora Alba, what a beautiful name as if music to his ears. He mind linked the beta to come to his office ASAP, he's curious to know more. "It was Dad who gave her a ride, orders from your father. You're not suppose to find out about this," Lee added in caution. Idris nodded. "Don't worry about it, you're out of this. You have any idea how she looks like?" Lee shook his head. "I might have seen her around but I just can't remember. Why do you want to know anyway?" Just then Baron came in and peeked at the door. "You called?" "Yes, come in. Lee you're dismissed for now," he ordered in Alpha tone prompting Lee to leave immediately. As soon as the door was closed, he didn't waste time to start. He looked at the folder on his desk where Baron's gaze followed. "That.." he slowly nodded. "It's suppose to be an unknown info from the rest of the pack," "How could you not tell me?" Idris facing the window now. Baron a bit surprised with his reaction. "Do you know her?" "Anything that happened during the transition, I should know." He firmly reasoned. "I'm sorry I didn't think this would matter at all. After all, she's just an omeg-" "-What does she look like?" He cut Baron off deliberately, sounding very impatient. The beta was even more bewildered. He sighed and open his laptop to find her file then placed the it on the table and faced it to him. "Here," Idris turned and sat back on his chair pulling the laptop closer to take a good look. His stomach tightened as soon as he saw her small face with almond brown eyes and naturally thick, soft-arched brows. Those eyes staring at him seemingly accusing him of what he did last night. He likes that button nose that makes him want to pinch it and that heart-shaped lips, slightly parted, inviting him to kiss and own it. All he can do is admire how her light tanned skin blended so well with her beauty and long dark hair. Even his wolf purrs at the sight of her. 'I told you she's the most beautiful woman who walked this earth, dumbass!' Minos nagging again. "Is everything alright?" Baron leaned forward when he noticed his Alpha being lost for a moment. As if Idris snapped out of a dream, he cleared his throat and shoved the laptop back to Baron. "Delete it," he ordered sternly. "What??" Baron surprised with a scoff, while Minos questioned the same in a more revolting tone. "I said," he gave him a look that can tore a wolf into pieces. "DELETE it, now." Baron immediately deleted Aurora's picture shaking his head. "I hope you have a plan when your father asks about this," the beta said nervously. Idris thought of his father for a moment and wondered why he'd been so lenient to an omega? He can't help but think maybe she and her father are having an affair? He started feeling very jealous, resentment for the two quickly building up. Why did he want her to be his private omega? He concluded maybe to spy on him as he didn't seem to trust his guts very well. He was enraged of this treachery, fist clenching on top of his arm chair. But he did his best to hide his emotions. "I'll handle it," he shrugged. He handed the folder back to his beta and started working on other folders without looking up to him. "She is not to set foot in the pack land again," He commanded firmly. "Upon her return, kill her before she reaches the border." He finished without showing any emotion at all. Baron was shocked for a moment and an awkward silence filled the room. "You're dismissed for now," still working on other files. "Y-yes Alpha," his friend hesitantly left the room. Minos throwing curses at him all this time so he blocked him. He knows better than leave the decision to a beast with short temper, aggressive behaviors and obsessive desires.. *************** In Salem, Aurora felt Auset whispered in her ear. "Follow the path you inherited. Seek and you shall discover. Draw on for it's within your grasp.." The woman had checked on Aura the third time, beguiled that she's still asleep on the couch. She walked to the center table and placed a tray with teapot and cups. The she went to her and stroked some of her hair that was covering her face prompting Aura to stir. Her eyes fluttered open and upon seeing the woman, she jumped from the couch in freight that caught the latter in shock. "My goodness, child! I didn't mean to scare you," Her hand on her own chest. Aura, all wide-eyed and disoriented. "You're a witch," with an accusing tone, making the woman place her hands on her hips. The witch, took a deep breath then putting her hand on the air as if telling her to take a break. "I'm sorry it wasn't entirely my fault. If only you have been more clearer.." she accused back. Aura realized this is true and so she tried to relax. "Anyways, nice meeting you for starters.." the witch gave her a tight smile before offering her hand. "I'm Elle," Aurora hesitantly took her hand. "Aura," she waited a few seconds to check if it will ring a bell on Elle. "Aurora Alba," "Hello Aura, it seems we got off the wrong foot." She sat on the single couch in front of her. Aura can't help but feel disappointed when she didn't get any reaction. Elle gestured her to sit on the couch she was laying down from before. She was hesitant but did it eventually thinking there's no other choice but to trust her for now. Elle poured her a cup of tea and handed it to her. "Thank you," she whispered. She stared at the tea but didn't drink it and Elle noticed this. "Oh," the witch poured her own teacup from the same teapot then took a long sip. "See?" She smiled. "Perfectly safe," Feeling relieved and silly at the same time, Aura grin sheepishly before taking a sip from her cup. "Thank you for your hospitality," "You're welcome," Elle replied. "You have been here since last night, your family must be looking for you?" Aurora gasped realizing she fell asleep that long. She shook her head as a response. "I don't have a family," Elle's smile was replace with sympathetic look. "And I'm sorry I didn't realize I slept that long," slightly embarrassed. Elle waved her hand though as if telling her to dismiss the matter. Just then there was a loud thud from upstairs. "Oh, my mother must be up." Elle stood up, "Come with me if you don't mind she requested to meet you," Aurora nodded and followed Elle upstairs. When they reached the room, the latter slowly opened the door revealing a sickly looking old lady probably in her late 60's laying on the bed. As soon as Aurora's eyes met the old lady's, she instantly felt a connection. "Hello mother, meet Aurora." Elle smiled as she pulls the curtain to let some sun into the room. The old woman gestured Aurora to come over and so she did. "Aurora, meet my mother." Elle continued. For some reason Aura can't understand, is why she's holding her breath. As she walks towards the old woman, emotions started to rush in. "Rafaela," Elle finished.
