Leaving the wounded well supplied, Sebastian, Joss, Dominick, Grant, Cassias, and Adam slipped through the shadows toward Malachi’s camp. It wasn’t a surprise that none of the mercs had bothered to bury the bodies of their comrades. They remained where they had fallen while giving chase. Sebastian glanced back to ensure Adam was alright, and he noticed the teen diverting his gaze from the bodies.
