A little hungover too,” I lied, trying to reassure them. Kenna then gave me a knowing look. She knew that I only got hangovers from hard liquor, which I hadn’t touched last night. I knew I’d have to spill everything to her later. Lily seemed to take my words as the truth because she looked away from me and back to her breakfast. Selene’s gaze burned a hole through me for a few seconds longer, but she too finally turned away and changed the topic of conversation. “Ladies, are you ready for Monday?” Selene asked, looking at each of us. “What’s happening on Monday?” I inquired, confused about this supposedly important event coming up in two days
