^CHARLOTTE “We’ll first master water,” Selene continued, completely unfazed by Lily’s near-blackout. “Mastering three of the four elements will help you master wind more quickly. It’s like learning to swim before you can fly.” Selene stood and walked to one of the shelves, her movements graceful and precise. She grabbed a small, intricately carved wooden bowl and poured water from a canteen into it, the liquid shimmering under the soft light.
