Tashim wanted to be a substitute for Jaeden.
He is the Vampire Prince’s Vintrai so it does make sense as to why he wanted to take over and be the one who brawls with Vaughn Thronos instead. Being the protector and assassin of Prince Jaeden, I know how much this means to Tashim. Even though I could not see his whole facial expression, his eyes were a different story. It was full of regret and worry. Tashim might have felt as though he did not fulfill his job as Prince Jaeden’s Vintrai.
“Do not fret so much, Tashim.”I muttered, immediately catching his attention as he averted his gaze to me. “Prince Jaeden got this. Let us just believe that he can.”
