I slumped back in my chair, rubbing my temples. My brain was completely overwhelmed with everything that I’d been learning the past several days.
“Can’t I be mated to the Alpha without having to be Luna?” I asked, pouting at Luna Marie. She had been so amazing, teaching me anything and everything that I needed to know. Most Lunas had more time to learn things, but as my mate had already been made Alpha, I needed to know everything as soon as possible. Luna Marie laughed at me.
“Oh my girl, you’re doing so good. Why don’t we take some time off the rest of the day. It’s Friday after all. Take a long weekend and we’ll get back to it on Monday.” I stared at her.
“Seriously? We can quit for the weekend? Are we allowed to do that?” She stood, laughing at me once more.
