Stall. Alpha Dominic had told me to stall. I cracked open the bathroom door.
“Todd honey I just have to use the restroom and then we can be on our way!” I cringed internally at the term of endearment. It made me want to vomit calling him that. I shut the bathroom door and locked it behind me.
I was so confused. Todd was a one night stand and I had literally not spoken to him since. I didn’t understand what possessed him to show up at my door like we were a couple. If that weren’t creepy enough, there was just something off about the guy and Echo was on edge around him as well.
I leaned against the counter trying to decide if I had stalled long enough when I heard Alpha Dominic’s voice in my head.
