Damien is aware that Daniel is experiencing some pain. His look clearly shows that he is aware of it. The individual is not making any movements and is simply staring at them without reacting in any way. He is glancing at Paige.
He was aware that Daniel was engaged in a great deal of thought at the moment. He knew it deep down within of him that he had won. He was aware that Daniel was currently experiencing feelings of envy. He had the impression that he had triumphed against Daniel in some sort of tournament, and everyone was giving him praise. However, when Paige spoke from behind him, his mind had not yet wandered too far.
“Well… Daniel, you are welcome to accompany me if it is something you desire. Paige extended an invitation to him, saying, "I will show you my home."
