David woke up early the next morning. The house was still quiet. He got out of bed and walked to the kitchen to make coffee. Carolina was already there. She smiled when she saw him and poured him a cup.
“Good morning,” she said.
David kissed her cheek. “Good morning. Did you sleep okay?”
Carolina nodded. “A little. I keep thinking about Sofia. I want her home with us.”
David sat down at the table. “We will get her. The team is working on it. Lena is looking for the exact location right now.”
