Recently, Mark left home early and came back late every day.
He said he was heading to the company. But in truth, his car always ended up at the southern art gallery.
Linda had a studio there. Every day, she made coffee for him, looked at paintings with him, and chatted about old business memories.
She said, "Mr. White, you must be very popular when you were young."
Mark gave a restrained smile, "That's all in the past."
Linda continued, "Truly attractive men don't lose their charm with age."
That same day, Mark sent her a diamond necklace. But Linda refused it.
She only said softly, "It's too expensive. Mrs. White wouldn't be happy."
Mark immediately felt she was considerate.
The next day, he sent a painting. The third day, a car. The fifth day, the keys to a luxury apartment.
