"What happened?" Cassia asked, rushing to the hospital without continuing her argument with Ivor.
She dashed into the intensive care unit, praying silently for Quentin's safety.
Fortunately, Quentin was in good health and pulled through. By the time Cassia arrived, his vital signs had returned to normal.
Just then, Willa also arrived. "Ivor, I want to stay with Mr. Parker tonight," she said, gently tugging at Ivor's arm like a delicate and charming woman.
"No need, Cassia is here. You should go back and rest." Ivor refused without hesitation. In his heart, he wanted Willa to stay, but the words that came out of his mouth were a rejection.
He didn't know why, perhaps because Cassia was a doctor and it would be more convenient for her to take care of his grandfather.
Willa was stunned.
