"Why are you here?" Cassia stared in surprise at Ivor before her. It was past midnight.
'Shouldn't he be sleeping soundly in his bed instead of appearing here?
Could it be because of me?' she wondered.
The thought was quickly dismissed. She'd sooner believe fish could fly than Ivor would come out in the middle of the night to pick her up.
