Lost in thoughts about Cassia's past, Ivor didn't expect his assistant to be so blunt. He quickly snapped back to reality and said indifferently,
"You're getting too involved."
"Mr. Parker, as your assistant for many years, my greatest hope is that you will stand tall again and find someone you truly love to marry."
Before John could finish, he received a warning look from Ivor.
He suddenly closed his eyes tightly and lowered his head, saying, "Mr. Parker, I'm taking a risk here. Are you trying to pursue her?"
"Get out."
"All right."
Seeing Ivor's mood darken, John quickly ran out the door.
The office finally quieted down, but Ivor suddenly felt a bit irritable, and even while handling documents, his mind was filled with images of Cassia.
