Something's not right! -Chapter 1

Gabrielle family is a simple one ,with fight and argues about every little thing,they stand as a lovely family,who puts their loved ones in the first place,and don't be fooled by their appearances that make them weak, they are real fighters for the family, especially Gabriella's younger brother who is among the prestigious fighters of the Newmoon pack.

Flynn is 17 years old, she is one year younger than Gabrielle, but she still behaves as if he is the biggest and strongest, because she always protects her, even from some things that are not dangerous. One day a boy from school he waved to Gabrielle and kissed her in the air in the distance, and Flynn saw, then the other day that boy started walking around Gabrielle. One day she actually found out that her brother was fine. done, muscular with a well-worked body, which looks mature than his age, scared that boy to somehow talk to his older "sister". He has curly black hair, in parts he is cut short, and up he is longer. His eyes are bright green as if after his emotions, his lips are round, and his jaws are prominent, his beard is arranged and styled in accordance with his hair, and his eyebrows as well. He likes to arrange himself, to keep up with fashion. He is very attached to the training for pack fighters, he is one of the best. He is capricious in p girls' revenge, that's why he decided to wait until he finds his mate, when he turns 18.

Their family has a strong bond of love, and they protect each other. Gabriella's father Gabe sometimes works for Alpha Cyrus, who is a good and strong leader, who is interested in the well-being of his pack. Gabe works in construction, and some members have houses built by him.

Although her father almost always sees Cyrus and his family, Gabriella is too busy with school matters and her personal life which includes her best friend Hanny, she is always looking for a solution to stop being a werewolf. No matter how many benefits this would bring, such as super speed, super hearing, super vision, transforming into a wolf, telepathy with pack members, and other powers that some of the members are blessed with, Gabrielle always wanted to be human, to lead a normal life. She is most afraid that when she finds her mate, he will reject her and she will die of pain. So it would be better to be human, to be able to choose his partner to be to her liking and if he refuses her, to be not so bad.

Her father didn't always agree with her thinking, so she secretly researches with Hanny,especially her 18 birthday is two weeks.

Gabe has black hair with white strands cut short and simple, his eyes are black as blackberries, and his face is prominent through jaws that are almost square. He has a worked body, because he was also a fighter but he gave up doing what he likes, builds houses. He gets along very well with his wife, he loves her enormously, she is, after all, his mate. Miriam is a thin woman, with a fragile body on the surface, but her heart can bear a lot. Her skin color is pale, her lips are reddish, her eyes are blue as the sky on a clear day and her black hair is long in waves.

Everything at Newmoon pack seems hurried,as I see everyone almost runing. Everyone has something in their hand and they seem scared but at the same time excited. Among them I see Hanny, and I pull her sleeve and ask her.

"What's going on? Why is everyone in such a hurry?"

"Didn't you hear? Alpha's son, Markus, will turn 18 tomorrow and find his soul mate. Luna Diana and alpha Cyrus have a party for him." Hanny says excitedly and impatiently as she jumps up and down.

"And do I have to come too?" I say my voice betraying my state of slight annoyance.

"Everyone will be here, even the prestigious members and alpha of some packs that have an alliance with ours. It is necessary for everyone to be here, even the omega ones below, because alpha Cyrus does not care about the rank of Markus' future soul mate." she tells me ,and I see a slight sign of hope in her now glowing blue eyes.

"Ahm...And you hope you have a chance?" I turn my lips up,and hold my laugh . I finally laugh despite my attemps not to.

"I hope you'll be the future Luna so I can feel good knowing that I can joke with her, but also that I can make fun of her. Will you stay in the pack house or will you make a house elsewhere with Markus, should I call my father to prepare?" I laugh so hard a few people start staring at us .

"Come on,don't be so mean.What's bad in dreaming ?He is such a hottie!" her lips opened slightly and her eyes were looking dreamy in a fixed place.

"I'm sorry,I was just joking.But I already believe he has a girlfriend as my dad told me.Maybe she is his mate.Anyway,why are we bothering with this,don't we have anything better to do?" I put my hands on my hips and look at her with one raised eyebrow.

"Oh ,come on,not today ,pleaseee!" she prays with her puppy eyes

"let's go and have a walk or anything.I just need a break.Let's be werevolves today,and we will try tomorrow to find the 'cure' "she cried keeping her finger as in quotaion marks.

"Fine.Where do you want to go?" I sigh.

"Let's go in town for shopping,I want to buy a dress I saw,especially we have an event here and I don't have anything to wear" she almost screams as worries fill her eyes.

"Whhaat?You have tons of clothes,I wonder where all fits,you would need a whole house just for them" I giggle.

"Oh,come on!I need that dress I saw!" she said with her eyebows pleading to believe her.

"Okay,I'll call Noah" .

We were sitting by the gate that marks the begining of our land.We like to walk,so we waited there for Noah.

Suddenly we hear the fuming wheels of a furious black car speeding right to us.We frown and gasp as the car stops right a few inches near us.

From the driving door a blond haired guy with transparent sunglases and golden eyes A boy dressed in a tight black T-shirt on his well-worked body and some cropped black jeans come down from the driver's seat. Strands of his blond hair as ruffled hang on his forehead because of the light breeze, his golden eyes are wide open, and can be seen even through his transparent glasses with a golden hue, his face is highlighted by fine cheekbones,his skin is tanned an you can see every muscle of his body.

His lips move into a big smile ,and soon he starts to smile his teeth gleamed by the bright sun .

"Noah!" Hanny and I shout at once and then we all laugh.

"Will you take us in the town?" Hanny opened and close her eyes very quickly flipping her long eyelashes ,slightly blushing.

She had a crush on Noah ,she didn't told me ,but I figured it out from her behaviour when around him.

"Yes ,that's why I am here,Gabrielle called me" . he said with a serious voice.He was a good guy,but heavens know how dummy he was not noticing Hanny had a crush on him.

Noah was my brother's bestfriend so we were getting along pretty well,like brothers.

Flynn had tought him his lesson already since a few years ago he tried to flirt with me.Now they both "protect" me from every not dangerous and dangerous things and guys.

Sometimes I feel a little special thinking about it,but when they make a big matter out of nothing I get angry and we all argue...at most times they win.

"Let's go then! " I say and got in the back seat.I let Hanny stay in front so she can admire Noah on our way to the shop.

My wolf smiled at that tought

'why are we friends with her anyway?' she said.

'Because she is our cousin,and we know her since or first day on earth' I say amused. 'she was always there for us,in good or worst'

I could feel Shapire's pride grow at the tought we were having someone to trust and rely on forever.

We arrived in town and Noah stopped in front of a shop Hanny told him to. He didn't want to come in since he doesn't have that much patience with us,and he hates shopping.

We enter the shop and at first we look at the same clothes from the hangers,then we split in separate ways.

My eyes are caught by a red dress,I went to check it,and it's a strapless bright red dress,tight on the hips and from down there to below my knees it comes in three rows of waves.

I decide I should try it. I'm heading to the changing booth,but before I even knock some girly voice says between giggles and ...moans?it's what I hear?

"mmm...it's occupied" and she giggles again.

What a shame to make-up in a changing booth in a*****e full of people I tought to myself .

After 5 minutes of waiting,since it was the only changing booth in the store,a straight blond haired girl reaches out.

Her hair reaches down her shoulders,her eyes are blue,and her lips are formed in a big smile.Her body has some curves,but it's thin.

She wear a green short top,and a white skirt below her tighs.

I recognize her immediately.

It's Sarah! Sarah Cooper,my ex-bully from school.

I feel nothing towards her ,since I learned her words don't harm me no more,but I still hate her for making me feel those things ,in those ways when I was younger.

I sudden notice her hand is pulled back holding his hand.

My eyes widened when I saw the most beautiful forest green eyes,blinking as in surprise with those black long lashes.

Markus the son of alpha,was a messy black haired guy,he was about 6,1 feet,and his muscled tann body looked great in that white T-shirt ,you could see his abs trough the tight shirt,and his arms and chest were big and screaming for you to touch them.

'Wow ,what was that?Where that tought came from?' I never tought like that at him.

He weared a blue cropped pair of jeans and white sneakers. His jaws were surrounded by a short but trimmed beard. His lips where full and almost red.

Maybe from Sarah's lipstick,I now noticed her red lipstick was almost wiped out.

I start to feel my heartburning from this.I don't know why,but I don't show it.

"Hello!" we all say.

"What are you doing here Gabrielle?Since when your body can afford to fit in such tiny dresses? she said wickedly and a nonchalant smile on her face.

I take a deep breath trying to say something with my eyes rolling about her lines over time, they're the same, and I'm tired of them,but I am stopped when I heard Markus low voice and he seems annoyed by her words.

"Sarah,behave yourself.I won't ask you twice." he said almost gritting his teeth.

She seems surprised looking down at her legs,but se quickly turns her head in one side and seems something caught her attentions as she quickly hurries in that way.

My gaze move from her to Markus only to see he was already staring at me ,his forest green eyes.

"I'm sorry about that " he says in a serious tone.

"It's okay,I'm used to her words,but they don't hurt me anymore,when she'll finally understand that she'll stop".

I say trying to hide the fact I did not like her talking to me like that in front of alpha's son.

"That's a wise decision" he said tilting once his head .

"How's your father?I haven't seen him lately?" he changes subject as he sees me slightly blushing.

"Well he has a lot of work to do,and we too see him only at night before dinner ." I respond.I wonder how come he talks to me?Usually he just greets me and that's all . Seems a bit weird.

And why I find him so good-looking now?I've seen him many times before,but I never tought and felt like this towards him.

"I see." he shortly said.

"Will you come?...Tomorrow at my party?" his eyes fixed on mine as if waiting for an answer.

Why is he asking me this ?What does it matter if I come or not. I'll give him an answer so he can leave ,cause I'm feeling more weirder as my heart starts to pound harder and maybe he will hear it.

"Yes,I will come with Hanny and our friends."

"Your friends?" he asks raising one eyebrow.

"Yes,with Flynn and Noah ." I respond not knowing why he asked that.Why is he suddenly interesed in me and my friends?

His eyes seem to have darkened ,and his hands clenched into fists.

Why is he reacting like this?I said something wrong?

"I'll be waiting for YOU" he said emphasizing the word 'you'.

He tries to leave,and as our sholders touch I feel sudden tingles in my tummy,and he leans over my ear whispering and looking down in my hand.

"You'll look great in that" his warm breath reaches my neck and tiny shivers run trough my body.

And with that he leaves out of the store,my eyes following him.

I didn't had time to think about what just happened as I feel two hands holding my shoulders and shook me twice until I look her in the eyes.

Hanny's face is put in a big smile and she ,is in such a happy state .

"What did he say to you?" she yells as almost every person in the end of the street could hear her.

"Nothing,he just asked if I go to his party.I guess he needs to know if everyone's attending it." I reply thinking about what I just said and I realize,maybe that's the reason he did asked me.

"Yeah,right!" she replies with a knowing look.

She puts her hands on her waist tilts her head in one side coughs and in a very low voice she tries to be as serious as possibly

"You'll look great in that!"

She heard that?Ofcourse she did,she has super hearing. Damn,these werewolf things!

She holds her laugh,but not for too much as she begins laughing like a maniac.

"Oh ,shut up!Stay here please ,until I try this dress" I unpaciently get in the changing booth to get this over with and head home.

I get off my clothes and put on the bright red dress. I look at myself in the mirror ,and a little smile makes its appearance on my face. I turn a bit and look over my shoulder to see my back too.

It cames tight on my chest,stomach,and bottom,and from there it comes in three well defined waves on top of eachother.

I don't have a really good opinion of my body,but there are moments when I feel good in my skin. This is one of them.

My black curly hair reaches my waist,so my back won't be so naked after all.

"I like it!" I nod.

I take it off and reach Hanny.We go to the counter to pay,and we head out.

Noah is wainting for us puffing smokes from his ciggare.

"Thank God!I was this close to keave you here alone! " he said without emotion in his words.

But we know he wouldn't leave us.He just doesn't like shoppings.

"We're here now.Let's go!" I wave my hand and open the car's door.

Hanny and Noah got in the car,but we didn't went straight at home,we passed a coffee shop,and bought ourselfs coffes.

We arrived home,we said our goodbyes,but Hanny came with my on my way as she lived near me.

"You think he likes her?" she suddenly broke the silent.

"Who on whom? "my eyebrows are questioning too.

"Markus and Sarah" her eyes are little worried and she stopped walking .

"Well he must,since they are together." My answer seems to answer her question as her eyes became serious and sad.

"Why are you interested in them ?" maybe she likes him I tought to myself. I don't want her to get hurt.

"I just asked..." shyly she lowered her headed.

"Well ,tomorrow we'll see who he really likes.I hope she wouldn't be his mate so she'll get what she fuckin' deservs"

I angryly clenched my fists as a wire of unpleaseant memories ran trough my head like an old, black and white movie .

"Yeah,I'll get home straight to bed.See you tomorrow,I'll be at you an hour before the party starts.Good night bestie "

"Good night bestie! "

She kissed my cheek and her figure dissapeared fast on the way to her house.

I was close to my house and after a few minutes I end up at my door. I enter the house and find my parents and my brother in the kitchen at the table eating dinner.

"Honey,come and take a seat ,are you hungry?"

my mom softly pulled me by my arm with her fragile hand.She patted my shoulder in a line up and down .

"I'm starving,but I'll wash my hand first" I smiled and kissed her cheek.

After I washed my hands I sat at the table,and we all ate and talked about our day.

I told my dad about Markus,but I didn't mention what he said to me ,just that he asked about dad.

After dinner I went up the stairs into my room,and changed my clothes into shorts and a top,since it was summer at night it would get very hot inside . I brushed my teeth and I got in my bed,the moment my head hit the pillow I fell asleep .

Or so I wish! I never fell asleep so easily,I have to turn in 99 positions to get a good one and fell asleep.

When I was little I had insomnia. So sometimes I can't sleep.

I kept thinking about Markus and his beautiful green forest eyes...They trully were so dreamy and bright.His long and thick eyelashes made his face look so cute and atractive at the same time.

What?Where are these toughts come from?

As I kept thinking I fell asleep.

In the morning I woke up touched and disturbed by my sweet sleep, by the rays of the sun beating from my window, where I forgot to draw the dark curtains. The chirping of the p*****s flying through the trees in our yard made my awakening less annoying.

I went down to the kitchen, where my mother was already cooking breakfast. After eating some scrambled eggs and bacon, I went to my bathroom in my room to change into a black tights and a long white T-shirt.

I started doing my homework for school, even though it was Saturday, I wanted to have the rest of the weekend off.

Time passed quickly, when I already heard the sound of the doorbell.

Then I heard footsteps heading for my door.

The door suddenly opened and a worried Hanny appeared in my room.

"We are so late!" throwing a bag on my bed she shouted in her hoarse voice

"We are not!The party hasn't even started yet!" I rolled my eyes.

"Yes,but we need to be ready at least a half an hour before it starts!" added already looking trough my closet.

"What are you searching for?"

"Your dress! I haven't seen it,remember?" she continued looking for it .

I remembered how I forgot to show it to her at the shop,since I was distracted ...by other things.

"It's here!" I went and with one move I pulled it out,since she couldn't find it ,even it was in her face.

"Oh my god!It's so cute and sexy!". she had a big smile revealing her teeth.

Then she took her bag off the bed and urged me to go take a shower until she did her makeup and hair.

After I took a shower she began and did my makeup,which was a simple one,just mascara ,smokey eyes,and red lipstick. She straightened my hair and she arranged it in one part.

Afterwards,I went in my walk in closet and out the dress on,my nude flat shoes and my golden heart necklace.

When I stepped outside, Hanny put her hands to her mouth and gasped.

"You look so beautiful!" she hugged me.

She was wearing a tight blue dress with long floral sleeves ,and it reached above her knees. Her blond hair was in waves,and her makeup nicely done,with cat eye and pink lipstick.

"I could say the same thing bestie!" I responded to her hug by squeezing her even harder.

When we went downstairs we were greeted by the empty house and a note on the counter from the kitchen.

'We went ahead at the party because alpha Cyrus needed us to help wih some things!We are waiting for you there!

We walked to the party since it was a few minutes away.

The moment we entered the hallway a sweet woody scent filled my nose. Wow,they really did a god job.It's smells amazing here !

The walls were cream and with golden motifs,the floor was honey marble coloured.The tables were alligned behind the walls. In the middle was the dancefloor

And it was empty since Markus needed to open the dances,with his mate or his parents will open the dancefloor.

Soon a click of glass echoed trough the hall and everyone pricked up their ears.

"May I have your attention please?!" he adjusted his low voice

"My son Markus, was blessed with my strength, and the beauty of his mother. But his ambition and interest in our pack, the welfare of the werewolves, his honesty, and wisdom came from his heart. That's why I'm glad to finally hand him our pack. being worthy and prepared for such a responsibility".

His chest filled with air that denoted pride.

So ,he is going to be our new Alpha.

After me and Hanny chatted about how everything looks so amazing we see Flynn and Noah moving towards us.

When they reached at our table,Noah took a sit right next to me ,and Flynn next to Hanny.

I took my phone out of my bag, and started playing on it. Slowly my eyes blinks almost closing themselfs ,Noah pinches my arm and smiles.

"Should I get you a pillow?" and his eyes were glowing brighter.

Before I even say a word a loud growl echoed and everyone in the hall gasped.

My heart clenched in some little butterflies and my eyes searched for the person who growled in the hall.

But no one knew who was is and soon their voices resumed like some bees buzzing.

"No need for pillow now !" I smiled as I was paying full attention now.

They all laughed happily.

Flynn asked me to hear some music of it's own,since he wanted to be a DJ he spent a lot of time making music mixs.

He handed me his airPods and I put them on while listening to the music.

Istarted to love it.

When I wanted to remove the airPods and my gaze, which was down on the table,went up to find Flynn eyes.

And something unexpected happened. ev erey pair of eyes are settled on me,and they gasped in lowdly.

Something's not right .

"W-what happened?" as I say the words I hear some firmly steps moving trough the hall.

My insides turned upside down from emotions.And everyone's looks don't leave mine until a known figure appears at our table .

Markus stand firm and tall in front of me,his eyes are darkened and his eyebrows furrowed.

His jaw clench and gritting his teeth he claims

" Mine!f*****g mine!"

And with one move he grabs my hand and pulles me up my chest touching his.
