The Alphas presence was smoldering in the nook. I couldn’t escape it. His scent wrapped around me like a cozy blanket. I know better, I know my instincts didn’t care about strangers, or what I needed/wanted to do. I need to go find my father and warn him of the dangers that lurk so close, and somehow get 135 out of that place.
