Chapter 11 Ana A roar rumbled loudly through the little nook I was wedged into, startling me awake. My heart races as I hear yet another roar met with the howling of many creatures that run my blood cold. I have never heard a roar like that before and I do not know what creature could make it. Taking a deep breath to steady myself, the feeling of rocks digging into my back and my cheek brings my attention back to being in a crevasse in the middle of nowhere. It is dark and damp and space is sparse. Gliding my hands along the rock's surface, I feel for details that hint at another way out. A wet crunch drags my focus back to the creatures only feet away, and a low growl emitted from one of the creatures vibrates my lungs. Adrenaline starts pumping into my system, causing me to get antsy.
