"But I will never force him to do something that he doesn't like. only he should decide for his life and it applies to you also. sometimes, the people who we think as bad ones and our enemy are the ones who care more than the people who always behave sweetly toward us," she patted Maddy's head.

"Maddy, I do not know how long I will be with you guys. But I want to see you guys live happily with your children. Will you guys do this favor to me before I die?" She was very emotional.

"Granny, why are you so hurry to leave us? Don't worry about me. I am still young. You should worry about John and Roy more" Maddy complained to her.

"I do not hurry not to leave you guys, but to see my grandchildren happy. You are now grown up. You should know how to make decisions in your life. I hope you understand," she explained her thoughts to Maddy.

During the press meet,

“Hello my dear media friends, thank you for coming on short notice. Today is the function for some announcements.

The first one is I’m going to introduce the heir of the Brand family. As you all know, I officially announce John Brand, my grandson as the only heir of the Brand family.

All the people started to clap their hands to wish them good luck, John.

Granny continued her speech and said, Thank you for your wishes. The next one is very important. Mr. John brand is going to get married soon. More details about his marriage will be announced soon," she finished her speech.

John looked at his granny with a shocking expression as he did not expect this type of shock from her. She never discussed this announcement with him. Granny looked at him with I know what you think expression and smiled as if she had won a big race.

She knew well that he will not get married until she pushes him so hard. That is why she had planned to give such an announcement. She knew well that at least he will try to find a girlfriend.

The whole hall was puzzled by a lot of questions from the media for some time.

John took the microphone and said, "Thank you for your wishes. I expect your full cooperation with our company in the future. More details about my marriage will be announced very soon," she switched off the microphone and both John and granny left the party immediately.

Soon, the press meet ended.

Mark was arranging his camera in his bag and getting ready to leave the party.

"Hey, Mark," he heard someone calling him from behind.

He turned towards the voice and saw George approaching him.

When he saw George, he just wanted to leave that place immediately. After the incident occurred in the bar, he had not got a chance to talk with George properly.

She kept his drink and was about to leave, but George caught his shoulder from behind and stopped him.

"Hey, why are you avoiding me, Mark? Are you still angry with me for what happened in the bar?" He asked like an innocent boy.

Mark rolled his eyes in frustration but tried to smile. He turned towards George and said, "Why should I avoid you if you did nothing wrong? Or are you feeling guilty about something?". Mark asked confidently. George was silent for a moment and said with a smirk, "Come on man, our colleagues might pamper you for your charm and believe you, but you know well what you can do compared to me. So, I warn you for the last time. Do not think that you are the most handsome in this world and try to show off as a gentleman in front of your colleagues.

Mark looked at him for a few seconds and left the place immediately.

But he did not notice Maddy who was listening to their conversation.

Now she could understand what might have happened in the bar. She felt ashamed of herself and wanted to apologize to him.

When she searched him for that, she could not see him.

At midnight around 12 a.m

Maddy was driving her car on the highway at high speed and listening to her favorite music. She always loved long drives at midnight while listening to her favorite songs. She was crossing a forest. There was a dense forest on the two sides of the highway full of long trees. She forgot the whole world and was immersed in her world full of joy. Suddenly she felt like something fell on her car. She tried to stop her car with a sudden break, but the car left the road and stopped hitting a tree slightly. It took a few minutes for her to realize what had just happened. She tried to start her car but it disappointed her.

"Damn it, why are you not starting? I am going to kill you if you do not start now," she cursed her car.

In a few minutes, she gave up trying to start it and scanned the area thoroughly. She realized that she had gotten stuck in the middle of the highway alone at the midnight.

The atmosphere of trees who are trying to touch the sky hard, the shapes of their branches, the creatures who live in it, and their terrifying sounds in the silence of the night, all of them made her feel something frightening her to the core.

She took her mobile phone to call anyone to help, but for her unfortunate, it was out of battery.

"What the hell is wrong with my phone? It is also betraying me now," she put it back in her bag.

She opened the car door and got out of her car. She was standing on the road alone. She began to shiver slightly because of the cold outside as she was wearing a small dress and because of the fear.

She tried to cover her body with her small and milky soft hands, but she could not succeed.

She was looking if any vehicle to pass her way. To not make her day worse, she saw a car coming towards her in the distance.

"Thank God, finally I am going to get a lift," she waved her hand to signal the driver to stop the car.

The car approached her fast but did not stop for her and passed her. She looked very disappointed when she saw it passing her.

To her surprise, the car stopped suddenly a few meters away from her.

"God is great," she thought in her mind and ran towards the car and was about to knock on the glass.

The door was opened and two men got down from it. Maddy was shocked to see them with beer bottles and fully drunken stage.

"Hi sweaty, do you need a lift?" One of them asked her.

She looked at them disgustingly and tried to walk away from them.

The other drunken man caught her shoulder tightly and said, "come on sexy, give us some company."

Maddy got afraid at first but gathered some courage and slapped him hard on his cheek.

The sound echoed in the silent air and some creatures reflected themselves to that sound.

"How dare you slap my brother?" the first guy got angry and was about to bunch her with her leg.

She realized that she had made them angry and tried to run, but the other one caught her hand tightly and prevented her from running.

Another one waved his hand to slap her hard. She saw it and got afraid.

"Ahhhh," she closed her eyes and turned her head away.

But she realized that nothing happened to her. She slightly opened her eyes and surveyed the area.

Both of the drunken men were on the road with some wounds and hissing in pain.

A man was standing with his back to her.

She just wondered who was that.

"Hey, who are you?" She asked him curiously.

He just turned towards her and looked into her eyes.

"You?" She was shocked to see him there.

She was standing speechless for a few minutes unable to break the eye lock. She was attracted by his powerful eyes.

He slowly moved towards her. Her heart started to beat rapidly with his every step. He came closest to her and grabbed her face gently with his both hands. He gazed at her for a few seconds and locked her lips with his. She hesitated for a moment but she responded to his kiss to her surprise. She closed her eyes and was fully immersed in that kiss.

"Wait what am I doing?" She thought herself for a moment and opened his eyes.

"Oh God, it is the same dream again. Why am I dreaming the same thing again and again," she realized that she was deeply sleeping on her bed in her room and was dreaming.

She scratched her hair frustrated and took the glass jar on the sofa beside her bed. She poured some water into a glass and took some sips.

"Wait, until yesterday I could not see his face in a dream, but today I saw his face," she told himself and tried to recall his face.

When she recognized his face, she could not believe it.

"How is that possible?" She thought for a moment.

She searched for something in her bag. She took it in her hand and started to admire it.

"This is a shirt button of an angry bird," she told herself and her words made herself shy.

She felt that her cheeks heated automatically.
