Episode 80

At Judy and Mark's home

She felt very heavy and her head was aching very badly. She refreshed herself very quickly and sat on the sofa. She was thinking of a way to get evidence. Soon, she fell asleep asap in a sitting posture.

In a flower garden

A young girl was plucking the flowers and singing a song. Her face was glowing in the sunshine and she looked no less than a princess even with a cheap dress. She forgot the world fully and sang the song wholeheartedly by closing her eyes. She seemed to be enjoying the song from the bottom of her heart. She finished the song and opened her eyes. She realized that she had been there for a long time. She became panicked that she would be punished if she was delayed to reach her residence.

She was about to turn and collided with someone. She didn't expect this and lost her balance. Before she fell to the floor, two strong arms caught her tightly and saved her from falling. She got afraid and hugged the person tightly. Her eyes were closed whole the time.

On the other side, that person was admiring her cuteness when she was afraid. He lost himself in her beauty and protected her with his arms from falling. He also looked like a prince. He was wearing wealthy clothes and precious jewels. He was perfect in every angle and looked most handsome.

She was about to open her eyes and look at the person but she heard someone open the door suddenly and open her eyes. She saw Mark who was standing in front of her with a puzzled look. For some time, she was confused. Later, she realized that she had been sleeping on the sofa and had a dream.

"hey, why are you sleeping on the sofa? Were you waiting for me?" Mark asked while taking a water bottle from the refrigerator. But he got Only silence as the answer.

He turned towards her and saw her pale and blank face. He felt something wrong.

He came and sat next to Judy.

"What happened? Is everything alright?" Mark asked her with concern in his eyes.

Judy just nodded her head as no and told him about what happened in the company except for the kiss.

Mark was silently listening to her and said happily, "Congratulations, my dear little sister. I am so happy for my little princess. You will get promoted more in the future. I know you will work hard,” he was truly happy.

But Judy was silent and thinking about something. Mark saw her worried face and tried to make her normal.

"You know well princess, that you deserve this position. You can't get a job so easily in London. So think positively and all is good." Mark continued to cheer her up.

"I can guess that you are in some trouble. You know that you can talk about anything with me," he said and looked at her with sincerity.

Judy just nodded her head and narrated what had happened in the office.

"Oh, even if his sister is a spoiled kid, her brother seems to be a thoughtful man," he said.

Judy felt something different in his tone. It was not anger or hate but something else. She didn't ask him more about it as she had her trouble at that moment.

"Don't worry, Mark. I can handle this problem," she said.

Judy nodded her head again with a smile and asked him "By the way, any improvement in your investigation?"

Mark made a disappointed face and said " not yet" and sighed.

"I remember why we shifted to this city and we will surely find out the whole truth, please don't worry and never lose your hopes," he continued and tapped her shoulder with concern.

Judy didn't want to make him tenser. So he smiled and nodded her head positively this time. Both gave each other a good night hug and went to their respective rooms.

Judy thought in her mind "Who asked Mark to come at this time? I would have seen the face if he came a few minutes later. But who is that girl? What's that place? Oh, God! So many confusions."

"Judy, please go to sleep. It's just a dream. Don't think too much and confuse yourself. Your focus must be on your mission." She tried to convince herself and tried to sleep

She could hardly sleep again with those thoughts even though she was damn tired.

Next day

In the R.K group of companies

Judy went to the document room to get more documents. She was shocked to see many documents missing.

"Where did they go? I saw them a few days before. I never thought that Mr. Martin will act quickly," she thought and asked the person who was in charge of that room.

"Excuse me, some of the files about the marketing department are missing. Do you know how did this happen?" She asked him.

"That's impossible madam, no one ever did something like that. All of the employees know the circumstances of their actions," he said confidently.

"Are you sure?" She asked him again.

"I didn't see anyone stealing some document. I don't know if someone took them after office hours," he said and went to do his work.

She decided to check the CCTV footage and went to the security room.

"Hello sir, I want to check some footage to collect some evidence," Judy explained the situation to them.

"We understand madam, but you should get permission from Mr. President to watch that footage. Otherwise, we can't help you," they said and continued their work.

Judy was much disappointed as she thought she will get something from that footage, but she couldn't get them.

"Can I ask Mr. President to permit me? Will he give me?" She thought.

She was deeply thinking that she collided with someone on her way.

"I'm so," she was about to ask sorry but she stopped her words when she saw who the person was.

"Ooops, I'm so sorry, Miss. Brown. I didn't notice you. I have mistakenly poured tea on your dress. If you don't mind, may I help you?" He asked.

"No thank you. It's fine," she said and tried to leave the place.

"Oh god, why are you in hurry? Just have a chat with me. Are you in a hurry to collect the evidence before they disappear," he said.

"What do you mean, Mr. Martin?" Judy was really angry now.

"Anger is not good for your health, Miss. Brown. But you look so cute when you are angry," he said and leaned towards her.

She took some steps back but her back hit the wall and she couldn't move further.

"It's a warning for you. Don't act foolish and get yourself humiliated in front of everyone. You will never get the evidence. I can give you a chance to correct your mistake. If you do it, you shouldn't apologize to me in front of everyone," he said and smirked evilly.

Judy didn't expect him to go to such a low level. She tried to escape from him.

"I want to invite you to my home for dinner. Why don't you use this chance to apologize to me? Then you don't have," a sound echoed in the air suddenly before he finishes his sentence.

He didn't expect this from Judy as he took her as an inexperienced and immature girl.

She pushed him away and walked past without saying anything.

"Foolish b***h, you are going to regret messing with me. Just wait and watch how I'm going to destroy you," he gritted his teeth in anger and he too left the place.

Judy was disturbed by what happened just now. She had respect for Mr. Martin even though she knew his evil thoughts. But she didn't expect such cheap behavior from him. It looked like what Michal said about him was true. He had tried to molest one of the employees in our department.

She couldn't get any evidence that day.

When she came out of the company, she noticed Mark's car. Mark had already messaged her that he will pick up her.

"Hey, how was your day?" He asked her with a smile.

But he could guess from the look Judy gave him.

"It's okay, princess. You still have time. Don't give up so easily," he said.

Judy just nodded her head.

"Where do you want to go now? I'm not in a mood to go home now," he said.

"I don't want to go anywhere. I don't want to go home also. I just want to prove myself and solve this problem," she said.

"Hey princess, what happened to you. You were always so optimistic in the past. But why are you speaking like this now? Don't you know how much you have been through? This is nothing compared to the past," he said.

Judy just nodded her head and smiled.

"Thanks, Mark. I don't know what I would have done if you weren't with me," she said from her heart.

"Same here, princess," Mark said and patted her head gently.

"Now let's go to have some ice cream," he said and started the car.

He stopped in a small ice cream bar.

"Hey Mark and Judy," the owner waved hi to them. He was an elder man with a beautiful smile.

It was near their home, so they sometimes come here at night.

"His uncle, how are you?" Mark asked.

"In good. I will give you the usual favour," he said.

"Wait, uncle. I don't need chocolate flavor this time. I want to have coffee flavor," Judy said.

Mark was amazed for a moment and said, " someone said to me that she didn't want to go anywhere,"

Judy stared at him with a fake angry expression and took the ice cream from that uncle.

Both of them enjoyed ice cream with small chitchat.
