Episode 69

After few days

Both John and Judy we’re very busy with their work and preparations for the anniversary of the company. So they didn’t get the chance to meet or think about what happened between them that night. Judy was talking with the receptionist girl when she heard a voice. She turned in the direction and saw Maddy's granny.

“Is it you, my dear?” granny asked.

“Hello madam, how are you?” Judy asked politely.

“I’m always good. What about you, my dear?” She asked Judy.

“I’m also good, madam,” she replied.

“Come on, don’t call me madam. Just call me granny like Maddy, John or Roy call me,” she said casually.

Judy said nothing and just gave a genuine smile.

“By the way, is your boss in his office? I’m here to inspect his works,” granny said and winked at Judy.

Judy just smiled and said, “I think yes madam. Wait, I will confirm it for you,” she said and asked the receptionist about John's presence.

“He is now in a conference meeting. If you don’t mind I can ask his assistant to tell Mr. Brand about your visit,” Judy said.

“It's okay, I’m not in a hurry. I can wait for him in his office,” she said.

Judy just nodded her head as yes and was standing silently.

Granny saw it and asked, “why are you standing silently? Who will take me to his office?”

“Madam, I…..” Judy didn’t know what to tell as an excuse.

Granny held her hand took Judy with her. Judy had no other choice other than to go with granny.

They took the lift and reached John's office.

“Please madam, have a seat,” Judy said and poured some water for her.

“Thank you, my dear,” granny said.

“by the way, what is your post in this company?” granny asked Judy.

“I’m the head of the marketing department,” Judy said politely.

“Wow, in this small age you have a great improvement,” granny said with a smile.

“Thank you, madam,” Judy said.

Judy thought something and asked granny, “madam, should I order some lunch for you? It’s almost lunchtime now.”

“No dear, I don’t want to make trouble to you,” she said.

“It’s not a trouble, madam. Now Mr. Brand's assistant will order the lunch for him. I can ask her to arrange some food for you,” she said.

“It’s okay dear, I’m not hungry. Especially after I had the dishes you prepared that day in the restaurant, I don’t find anything tasty,” she said and smiled at Judy.

“You are exaggerating madam, but thank you for your comment,” she said.

Granny stood up, but her head began to spin and was about to fall, but Judy caught her before she fell.

“Granny, are you alright?” she asked.

“Finally, you are calling me granny,” granny said and smiled.

“Granny, please tell me. What happened to you?” She asked granny with concern.

“I’m okay dear, I’m just old. Otherwise, I’m perfectly alright,” she said.

“But you look very pale. I’m going to call Mr. Brand,” she said and was about to call a number.

“No dear, please don’t disturb him. I don’t want him to get worried about me,” she said.

“But you have to visit the doctor,” she said.

Granny looked at Judy and she could feel how worried Judy was when she was about to faint.

“Do you want to help me?” she asked Judy.

Judy just nodded her head.

“Will you come out with me for lunch? I don’t know why I just feel very comfortable with you,” she said.

Judy was sitting silently without any response.

“It’s okay if you don’t want to spend some time with this old lady,” granny said with a gloomy face.

“Don’t think like that granny. I also feel the same about you. I too don’t know the reason. I want to spend some time with you, but today I will take you home and call your family doctor. We will go shopping this weekend. Is it okay granny?” she said with a smile.

Granny was very happy when she heard Judy's words.

She nodded her head as yes.

Judy called Michal and said that she will go out for a few hours and asked her to do some of the work.

Judy took granny's handbag and caught her by one side.

When they entered the lift, John was just crossing their way, but both parties didn’t see each other, unfortunately.

When they reached home, Judy took granny to her room.

“Granny, take some rest. I will ask the maid to call your family doctor,” she said.

“Okay,” granny said and closed her eyes.

Judy went downstairs and saw one of the maids.

“Hello,” she said with a smile.

“Hello madam, how can I help you?” she asked.

“can you call granny's family doctor for me? She is having some trouble,” Judy said.

“sure madam, please take a seat,” she said and went to call the doctor.

When she returned, she brought a glass of water for Judy.

“Thank you,” Judy thanked her and took a few sips from the glass.

“If you need anything, please just call me. I will be in the kitchen,” she said.

Then, Judy just remembered granny's words in John's office.

“It’s okay dear, I’m not hungry. Especially after I had the dishes you prepared that day in the restaurant, I don’t find anything tasty,” she said and smiled at Judy.

“Madam, wait for a second,” Judy said and went near her.

If you don’t mind, can I use your kitchen for a while? I just want to make something for granny. She needs to eat something light and heavy food,” Judy asked her as a request.

“Of course, you can,” she said and led Judy to the kitchen.

It was like the kitchen in Jack's restaurant. She was amused by the arrangements.

“No wonder, it’s a palace in reality,” she thought.

She began to think about what to cook.

Something clicked in her mind and she started to write down the ingredients to find first.

After writing every detail, she handed over the sheet to the maid and asked her to bring the ingredients for her.

The doctor came exactly when she handed over the sheet.

“Hello doctor,” Judy welcomed him.

The doctor looked at her and wondered who is this new girl for a moment.

Judy realized it and said, “I'm an employee in their company. Please come with me.”

She took him to granny’s room. When they went into the room, granny was already git up from sleep and reading a file.

“Hello madam,” the doctor said and occupied the seat beside the bed.

He began to check her physical condition.

“Doctor, is everything alright? She was about to faint in the morning,” Judy asked him.

“She is perfectly alright. Her blood pressure was very low, that’s why she was weak,” he said.

“I already told this kid that I was okay, but she didn’t believe me and called you,” granny said.

“She cares for you a lot,” he said and looked at Judy.

When just met his gaze, it made her very uncomfortable.

“Granny, I will cook something for you,” she said and left the place.

He was still looking at her.

The maid sent him off to the gate.

Judy was preparing some dishes for the lunch.

That maid came into the kitchen and asked if she needed any help.

“No thank you,” Judy said and continued her work.

After every work finished, she went to granny's room.

She knocked on the door.

“Please come in,” granny said.

Judy went inside the room and said, “ granny, the lunch is ready. Should I ask to bring it?”

“Ni dear, we will go downstairs and have our lunch,” granny said and slowly got up from the bed.

Judy took her hand and brought it downstairs. She made her sit on a chair.

“Granny, if you give me permission, I will leave,” she said.

“Are you not going to have lunch?” granny asked her.

“No granny, I have some urgent work. I have got a call from my assistant,” she said.

“Are you boss very strict? Is he making you do heavy work? Tell me and I will handle him for you,” she said.

“No granny, he is very kind and responsible always,” she said and remembered that incident when he offered to get his coat to sleep comfortably on the chair that night.

“Take care of yourself, granny,” she said and left the place.

Granny remembered something suddenly and called one of the maids. She asked her to tell a driver to send Judy back to her office.

Maid quickly went to Judy and asked her to wait for a moment.

The driver sent her off to the work.

One fine morning

She was preparing some food for her family.

Suddenly she felt someone's presence behind her. Even though she knew who might be that person, she turned towards that person.

The man who was waiting for her to turn around quickly pressed his lips with her and locked with her lips.

She was a little bit taken aback, as she was already busy cooking with a spoon in her hand and some vessels in her other hand.

But she started to melt herself in that deep and passionate kiss.

After a few seconds, she began to respond to the kiss. He slowly took the things away from her hands and kept them on the shelf without making a noise.

Both of them hugged each other and immersed themselves in their romantic world.
