As per their plan, Mark and his companion embarked on their journey to the enigmatic hotel, a place unfamiliar to Mark until now. Utilizing his media influence, he unearthed its clandestine location - a private venue notorious for unsavory activities. A mission cover from his senior secured him an invitation.
They got dressed and left for their destination.
Mark stopped his car and looked at her.
"Princess, you will call me if something is wrong, right?" He asked with concern.
"Don't worry, we won't have any trouble," she confirmed to him.
Both of them headed to the bar in that hotel hand in hand.
They memorized the elegance of that hotel as if it were a seven-star hotel.
"This place doesn't seem suspicious, I think". She expressed her suspicion.
"We can't judge a book by its cover, let's go inside and get to the bottom," he looked for the entry pass he had put in his pocket earlier. But he could find nothing inside.
"s**t, where did it go?" He was puzzled.
"Don't tell me you have forgotten to take the pass," she could see through his action.
"I remember I put it in my pocket before we left our home " he stopped as he abruptly remembered that he had kept it on the dining table at home and looked at her.
"Okay, I should have reminded you before we left our home, as I know well how oblivious you have been becoming day by day," she pouted a little.
"What to do now? We can't go inside without the pass," he looked at her for a solution.
"We can ask for help from someone," she said.
"Help? Okay, we will see," both looked around their location.
In the distance, a handsome man was standing busy on his mobile. She focused on his hand and noticed something in his hand.
"That's the entry pass," she whispered to herself.
"Wait for me here and don't move," she alerted Mark and put her mask on. She had already brought two masks for themselves as she had some instinct that they might need them.
She couldn't see his face, and she didn't care about it either. She slowly approached him without making even a tiny noise and stood behind him. He seemed to have no idea about the presence of someone behind him. She quickly took the pass from his hand before he realized what had just happened and flew back to Mark.
"Wow, my innocent princess is sometimes very cunning," he giggled.
"Thank you so much, I take it as a compliment," she quickly removed her mask.
"But I like this side of you," he couldn't control his excitement.
"Okay enough, for now, we should go inside before that stupid person realizes that he has lost his pass," she pulled him and handed over the pass to the bodyguards.
The bodyguards looked at both of them and one of them took them inside.
He took them to a room that looked like a private box. Then he pressed a button on the wall. Instantly, a door was opened out of the wall and that bodyguard asked them to go inside.
He closed the door again.
The place was too crowded as the youngsters were gossiping, drinking, and dancing.
She couldn't avoid feeling disgusted and barely grimaced.
"Don't worry, I'm with you. Now we have to monitor everyone and discover who is the victim and who is the culprit," he tried to make her comfortable.
Of course, she is always comfortable in his presence. She just gave a cute smile and nodded her head.
"We will watch them separately. Give me a signal if you find something. I will always be in your sight," Mark occupied one of the chairs in the bar.
On the 30th floor of a building, a man was busy with his laptop when his mobile phone started to ring. He swiped the screen lazily to answer the call.
"Are you sure?" A stern voice questioned the person on the other side of the telephone. The atmosphere turned cold as hell as the Arctic Ocean.
"Yes, young master. But don't worry sir, as we are trying our best to locate young madam" the butler assured his boss in a calm voice.
"Send me the location immediately, and I will handle it myself," he cut the call. He knew well that his sincere employee was more than capable of this matter, but he couldn't just simply sit and wait for the worst to come his way to take action.
The coldness in his face was more indifferent than earlier.
"Who dares to do this to my beloved person?" He couldn't guess, as he had faced countless enemies in his professional and personal life.
A beeping sound from his mobile distracted him from his messy thoughts. He took the mobile and his pupils contracted in confusion.
When he realized the seriousness of the problem, he took his coat immediately and left the room.
The mysterious man, his presence exuding an air of authority and intrigue, stepped out of the sleek black Ferrari 250 GTO. The low hum of the engine gradually faded as he closed the car door, leaving an indelible mark on the atmosphere. Dressed in a tailored suit that accentuated his imposing figure, he walked towards the entrance of the enigmatic hotel.
As he moved, a distinct and captivating aroma enveloped him, leaving a trail that lingered in the air. It was a fragrance that spoke of sophistication and power, adding an extra layer of mystique to his already enigmatic persona. The onlookers couldn't help but be drawn to the allure that emanated from the mysterious man.
However, his face remained hidden beneath the shadow of a cap that covered half of it. The deliberate concealment added an element of suspense, leaving those around him curious about the identity of the man beneath the stylish facade. Despite the obscured features, the coldness in his demeanor was palpable, a deterrent to anyone considering approaching him without proper cause.
The bystanders, recognizing an air of authority and perhaps danger, instinctively made way for him as he strode through the entrance. Whispers rippled through the crowd, speculating about the purpose of his visit and the secrets that might be concealed within the walls of the exclusive hotel.
"Hey John," someone waved toward him to get his attention.
He went towards that person as he knew his i***t best friend well.
"Why are you so late? This is the entry pass," that person was about to take the envelope, but he found nothing inside.
He was startled for a moment.
"s**t? Where did it go?" His face was full of seriousness.
John didn't utter even a single word. He just made a call while the other person was still searching for the pass.
