John heard everyone including Roy praising Judy's job many therefore he thought to check her ability and proficiency. One normal day, there was a meeting was going on in one of the conference rooms. Judy was explaining the marketing strategies for an upcoming project to the client. John entered the room unexpectedly and relaxed on a seat. The situation became a little tense after his appearance.

Everybody including Judy knew that the president handled only very important conferences, and this is not such an important one, hence all were very confused. Especially Judy felt like her heart will pop out at any time. But she could regulate and maintain her emotions and continued the conference at the same professional level.

The clients were impressed with the presentations and admired Judy's professionalism. After the conference was over, they greeted Roy and took their leave. They did not forget to mention Judy to him.

"Hello Mr. Brand nice to meet you," the manager of the client company greeted him.

John shook hands with him and discussed the important details with him.

"By the way Mr. Brand, your marketing head is very talented and she is more than qualified for that job," he told proudly about Judy and left the place.

When Judy was about to leave, John called her.

"Miss. Brown, one minute" his cold voice turned soft in a blink.

Judy was numb when she heard his voice. She had planned to escape from him as soon as possible, but she couldn't do it.

She turned her head towards him and both of their eyes got locked themselves. They didn't know how long they were staring at each other. They felt like traveling through each other's eyes, searching for some answers to their questions. But that depth wasn't enough. They had to travel more. They heard some coughs suddenly and came out of their trance.

It was Roy who came for his next conference. He was astonished when he saw that his friend glanced at a girl differently than others. He couldn't believe his own eyes even though he knew that John had some feelings for Judy. But secretly he was very happy about the transition in his friend's life.

Roy said with the embarrassment of disturbing a romantic scene, " I am so sorry guys. I think It's my cue now."

When he turned to leave, John stopped him.

"Roy, the marketing head post is empty again. Give an announcement to the media". He said unconcernedly and left from there before the other two say something.

Judy was shocked when she understood what the president said and she was confused as well.

She had been showing more improvement day by day, but she had been removed from her post. She knew well this job was a very big opportunity for her to prove herself to the world. But she lost it. She turned towards Roy to inquire about it. Before she said a word, Roy got an important call and he too left that place. Only Judy was left lonely there. She sat on the chair with a confused mind.

Judy balanced her chin with her left hand and seemed to ponder the matter. Her eyebrows drew together, forming lines between them. she couldn't understand the reason for her termination. She took a deep breath and let it out again slowly. She can't directly ask the President, hence she was determined to discuss with Roy and clear the issue. She went to his office and knocked on the door.

Roy who was busy in his files asked her to come in. When he saw Judy, he understood the motive for her visit.

Before she said something, Roy interrupted her "Miss. Brown, I am too shocked about what the president instructed me in the meeting hall. I don't understand the reason as well, but there must be something in his mind. Why shouldn't you ask him directly?

When he was explaining all these, the room door was opened. Both of them were surprised to see the person. John was standing at the door. He came inside and whirled towards Roy.

"Why are you flirting in your work time? Don't both of you have any work?" his face tried hard not to show any expression.

Judy's POV

How harsh those words were, but there is something else hidden in his words, I gazed down at him perplexedly.

I interrupted Roy who was ready to answer his question "sorry for the interruption, I am the one who came to discuss with him and it's my fault. After you took me out from work, I should have left the office."

I started to step slowly.

"How dare you leave without my permission?" again I heard a mad voice.

I got terrified more and stopped walking. A brief silence formed among us and frightened me to the core. I thanked God when Mr. Roy broke it first.

"President, I am sorry, but you have misjudged us. She wanted to know the reason for her termination. I was telling her to ask you by herself. There is nothing else. We weren't flirting as you think", Mr. Roy tried to clear the awkwardness.

"Termination? Who the hell decided it?" John maintained the same attitude with a blank expression on his face.

I was already stressed and his words confused me more. I was standing behind John facing the door. I whirled towards him to face him and I failed to notice that Mr. John also had turned at the same time. Both of us collided with each other and I lost my balance when my forehead hit his strong and broad chest. I got worried that I was going to fall to the floor and closed my eyes tightly. To my surprise, it was very warm and safe. My eyes were closed and a smile curve on my lips slowly. After a few minutes, I opened my eyes slowly and met two big eyes filled with love and concern.

I was breathless that I could feel his hot breath burn my entire body. I felt a desire to run from my heart, to my chest, and down towards my inner thighs. His right-hand fingers touched my left cheek, and hair, as it was moved away nearly, gave me the chills. I felt safe, he spoke no words. My heart was about to beat out of my chest and I closed my eyes. His lips mashed against mine as if trying to flatten and destroy my mouth.

John's POV

Her words tried to confuse me, but my mind quickly caught her misinterpretation and smirked at her innocence.

I turned in her direction to explain more and didn't expect the same from her. When I saw her falling, My heart stopped beating for a while. My subconscious mind ordered me to protect her. I was faster enough to prevent her from falling and held by her waist. I noticed every moment on her face and it clearly showed me her heart. First, she was scared, then close her eyes. After her mind assured her, she was safe a smile curved on her lips. Her face was like that of a child who was sleeping peacefully in her guardian's arms. She opened her eyes and locked with mine. She was so close, that I could smell the sandalwood of her shampoo, and the silky cream that she must use on her skin, the skin that my hands burned to touch. I touched her face and then stroked her hair with my free hand. I bent my neck so that I could meet her lips. For the first few minutes, I didn't receive any response. Then she hurriedly pushed back, her mouth open, tongue pushing past my clenched teeth to the moist space within. The bristles of my beard scratched against her soft cheeks as she gripped my head firmly, as to keep from escaping. We worked our mouths against each other, our tongues battling back and forth like wrestlers, each trying to pin the other.

Roy's POV

John was holding her waist with his strong arms to prevent her from falling to the floor. I could see the change in his face when she fell. The blank face changed to a soft one and it showed some emotions. His cold eyes were softening. Anyone who sees this scenario will say how perfect this pair was and how much this man cared for his girlfriend.

I was witnessing the whole scene with my mouth wide open and what I saw next had me doubling over in shock. John came closer to Judy and started to kiss them passionately. I couldn't believe what I was evidencing with my eyes, but I decided to give them privacy and left the place silently without startling their moment.

Both Judy and John didn't know how long they were kissing. There were so many feel they couldn't express themselves in words. Both looked like a couple who met each other after a long time.

Judy felt suffocated and broke the lip lock. When she deduced what had happened, she became horrified. She pushed his chest with her hands and came out of his grip. She ran from there without waiting furthermore.

John realized what he had done and was more confused about his strange behavior and emotions. He left his office and went to his mansion.

Judy went to her room and fell on her chair in shock. She was breathing rapidly. She drank some water and tried to make herself calm, but the kiss scene was continuously coming into her mind and disturbed her. After some time she could breathe normally but she was still In shock.

"What happened, Judy? I came to congratulate you, but you look very upset," asked suspiciously and then changed her expression mischievous and continued, "I know why you are acting like this? I know you, my dear drama queen. You have predicted, I will ask for a party and you are acting as if nothing happened. But I know everything that happens in this office."

"Who will give you a party when I was terminated from a job? Don't make fun of me and make me angry," Judy was shocked but tried her best to cover the shock on her face with her fake anger.

"What none sense you are talking about? Didn't you see the letter on your table? Michal asked her and took the letter from the table.

Judy looked at Michal with confusion and snatched the letter from her.
