“Okay, cool dude. I know why you are so busy. I will come to the point. Mother asked me to invite you for the family dinner, this weekend,”
“Okay, cool dude. Mother asked me to invite you for the family dinner, this weekend,”
“I can’t assure you, but I will try to come. But one condition, nobody is allowed to talk about my marriage or moving to your home back,” he seemed to not be interested.
“Okay, deal. I have some work in the office. I will talk to you later,” the person also seemed to be in hurry.
“Okay, take care of yourself, and don’t forget to have a meal on time,” Jack cut the call. He looked at the wound and smiled thinking about how Judy was cute when she applied the ointment for him.
After two days,
At Judy and Mark's home, in the morning.
Mark had already gone to his office, hence Judy was alone at home.
She prepared a black coffee for herself and went to her favorite spot ever. It is her library. She had a library since she was just four years old. When her parents asked her what she wanted for her fourth birthday, little Judy replied that she needed her library for the books she was going to collect. Her parents didn't deny it and her father had built a new library for her on their lawn within the next week. Since that day, Judy had been buying many books as possible. She never allowed anyone to enter her library except her family.
Normally girls love to shop for clothing and accessories, but Judy was exceptionally interested in books. She was not only interested in reading but in writing also. She had a habit of writing journals, stories, poems, etc. Those who knew her very well always gave her books as gifts. She always loved books unconditionally. She used to spend most of the time in the library for ages. They had been her companion whenever she felt depressed or sad. She encouraged others also to read many books. Many times, her friends used to call her a bookworm but she never cared about their tantrums. She had shifted along with her library to London.
She took a book to read while sipping her black coffee. It was a new book, she had purchased it last week when she went to a mall near their home.
"It is also not the book I'm searching for. Oh God when will you show that book to my eyes?" After reading the title of the book, she felt a little disappointed, But she did not want to close the book. It was a famous British novel. She immersed herself in that book for a long time.
