"Come on, I warn both of you. Don't ever try to pull my leg," Judy crossed her hands on her chest and showed a fake angry face.
The trio was talking happily happy and smiling. But they didn't know that one person was continuously watching from distance. His face was blank but his mind was fully immersed in one person. His eyes didn't move away from Judy for even one second. She looked very gorgeous in that evening gown. She was wearing a red gown with floral prints fully and her messy bun hairstyle suited her dress well. She was wearing a pair of silver earrings and matching high heels. She was perfect from every angle. That dress and her figure looked familiar to him, but he couldn't exactly remember anything else.
He became irritated when he heard a cough sound that disturbed him. He turned towards the sound and saw Roy.
"Mr. President, what a pleasant surprise. I didn't expect you here," Roy acted as if he was surprised.
“Oh really, but I thought you guys will get bored without me. I guess that I am wrong this time. You, guys, are having so much fun tonight than I expected. How long are you here?” John said with a blank face while sipping his drink.
“Why do u ask that? Are you jealous of your best friend?” Roy asked him while raising his right side-eye brow with a mischievous grin.
“Jealous? Me? Don’t forget that you are speaking with the C.E.O of R.K's group of companies,” John said and acted like he doesn’t care about their chat.
"You seem not bothered by anything. You know well that all girls' focus is on you except one," Roy said in a mocking tone.
John still had the same expression on his face.
"If you are going to behave like this anymore, you are going to be single for your entire life," he pointed in a particular direction.
"What's he doing here? The people who were invited today are either celebrities or businessmen," John thought.
Mark and Judy's table
"I forgot to ask you about Maddy. What happened after I left the place? Did you confess your feelings for her?" She asked him.
"Well, I have a girlfriend now," Mark blushed a little bit.
"Wow, why are you so late? Who knew my robot brother, I mean in romance will fall quickly for a girl?" She was continuously teasing her.
"But I'm worried that I didn't propose to her properly. You know well, she is from a very rich family. So she might have expected a grand proposal in her life. I hope I can do it one day and make her happy," he said.
"I don't think so, Mark. I agree, she is super rich than you. But she is not a girl who judges people with money," she said.
"Oh my princess, you are supporting your future sister in law than your brother," Mark smiled at her.
"Hello guys, may I join you?" They heard a familiar voice.
"Jack? Why are you here? I mean I didn't expect you here," Both Judy and Mark were surprised to see him there.
"Surprise. I already know about this party when you mentioned it after the competition. I just wanted to surprise you guys," Jack said.
"It's good to see many familiar faces," Mark said.
"I came here for my close relative. It's somehow complicated. I will explain to you another day," Jack took a drink and sipped it.
"You look like a mysterious person to me now," Judy looked at him suspiciously.
"Don't tell me you are a second-generation kid of a rich family," Judy told.
"What if I told you yes? Do you trust me?" He asked them.
"What? Really? But that doesn't make any difference, right Judy?" Mark asked her.
"Right, you are my family even if you are the richest or poorest in this world," Judy said.
"I feel very lucky to have you guys in my life. I have never got love from my family. Both of you are giving me a lot of love that I never got in my life but always anticipated," Jack got emotional.
"It's okay, Jack. Let's enjoy the party," Judy tried to cheer up his mood.
Mark's phone peeped a notification.
A smile crept on his lips instantly.
"Jack, someone is blushing. Did you see?" Judy tried to pull Mark's leg.
"What did I miss? Come on tell me the all details," Jack asked curiously.
"He has a girlfriend now. She might have texted him. That's why he went to look for her," Judy said.
"That's good. I'm happy for him" Jack said.
"It's your turn now. When are you going to find yourself a girl?" Judy asked him?
"Me? Who will agree to date a chef?" Did he say and smirked?
"Who won't date you? You look very handsome. You are a good boy. You are one of the most famous and got chefs in our country. Why not?" She asked casually.
"Then why didn't you love me?" He thought in his mind.
"What are you thinking?" She flicked her fingers in front of his face to bring him back to the present.
"Nothing, I was just thinking about something".
He realized someone's gaze was on him.
"Judy, do you smell any smoke?" jack asked in a teasing tone.

"Stupid Judy, I wanted to say someone's stomach is burning with jealousy," he turned in a particular direction.

"Me? Sure," she accepted it happily.
They went to the dance floor and moved their body according to the music. It was a slow melody.
"What are you planning, Jack?" Judy asked him.
"Come on, how long are you guys going to be like this,? Someone should take the initial step. I'm just pushing him to the edge, that's all," Jack said casually.
"You speak like a well-experienced person. By the way, thank you," she said.
"Anything for you my princess," he flashed a big smile.
Outside the hall
Mark came outside after he got the text from Maddy. He was waiting for her at the entrance.
When her car stopped at the entrance, all media started to click her photo.
Mark got a little bit nervous, even though he was working in the press.
He stopped the person who was about to open the door for Maddy.
"May I? He opened the door slowly and gave his hand bending himself a little bit.
Maddy was surprised at first. She smiled at him and accepted his hand.
He kept his hand on the edge of the door to prevent her head hit on it.
She entangled her hand with his hand and walked on the red carpet.

Maddy got nervous, but Mark took her safely inside.

She blushed but managed to say, " you look very hot. All the girls' eyes might be already roaming over your sexy body," she said in a husky voice.
"Does that include you?" He tried to flirt with her.

"What are you doing? There are so many people here," Maddy felt a little embarrassed.
"Well, I'm your boyfriend. We are a couple now," he said and gave a romantic look.
She looked at him and she couldn't move her eyes away after their eyes got locked with each other.
"Even though many girls admired me, I have only you in my heart," he took her hand and kept it in his chest.
"Enough, I can't blush anymore. My cheeks are more painful than usual," she complained like a small girl.
He touched her cheeks gently and asked, "do they hurt anymore?"
"Not anymore," she sipped her drink.
"May I have a dance with my queen?" He asked her.
She happily accepted his hand and both of them went to the dance floor.
