***VERA*** “Vera.” Conry whispered in my ear as he jerked me from the side pulling me back from my thoughts. My eyes were fixed at the door where my sister had just exited through, I still couldn't quite place why she was looking like that. “I need to go see my sister.” I muttered, as I slowly darted out of the hall. The petals that had been thrown into the air now lay scattered on the ground, some crushed under footsteps, others still whole and soft.
