The Power of an Alpha

Chapter six

Mel and Aiden are both tightly holding onto my hands not wanting to let me go. The crowd starts to part and I’m left face to face with 4 beautiful creatures.

The faerie girl had pale almost silver skin and bright purple eyes. Her hair was pure silver and her wings an intricate swirl of pinks purples and silvers. She stood at about 5’7” and held herself with a grace that was out of this world.

The Vampire male had pale white skin, golden red eyes, pitch black hair, and large muscles. His fangs were currently retracted but when he smiled you could see his canines were still larger than the average human. He’s a blood vampire, born into his heritage and therefore unlike those vamps that are turned he doesn’t burn in the sunlight. He stands around 6 foot

The incubus has pale blue skin and the succubus has pale pink skin both have blue grey hair and silver eyes. They eyed the pack in a lustful way. Despicable, no one of the supernatural world particularly cares for succubus and incubus.

“So this is the girl? She doesn’t look like much, especially for a descendant of the oh so great Alexander.” I hear growls ring out at the succubus’ words.

“No one speaks ill of our Alpha and gets away with it.” A few pack members defend.

“What do you want from me? What was your intention or purpose for coming here today?” I ask still clutching both of my mates hands.”

“There’s evil starting to spread in this world. It’s our job as direct descendants of the Five children of Fenrir to stop such evil. We have a year to learn what we must and to hone our abilities before we must go and protect this land once and for all.” The Vampire stated.

“What do you mean exactly?” Aiden asked it doesn’t seem like he like the idea.

“This is what that prophecy was about wasn’t it?” I ask remembering what Sheila had mentioned earlier.

“When the True Alpha awakens Darkness rises. Even Alexander wasn’t a true Alpha. Your power rivals the power of the gods. A true Alpha isn’t some ordinary wolf; a true Alpha is an Alpha with two wolves, one that’s there’s and one that is from a past wolf. A true Alpha can only exist once every 2000 years and is only ever going to be from the White Moon pack.” The Faerie answered.

I feel Mel and Aiden’s grips tighten on my hands.

“That being said an Alpha is only as strong as their mates. So we’ve decided the training will be taking place in the Alpha of Black Fire pack.” The Vampire stated.

“Wait Black Fire? Why would we do it there? They are said to be ruthless.”

“Babe, that’s mine and Mels pack. Do you really think we’re ruthless?” Aiden whispered into my ear sending shivers down my spine.

“Black Fire is said to have strong warriors and a tough training grounds the terrain will also help make us stronger and ready to take on the Darkness.”

“Wait who gave you permission to use my pack for your training?”

“If you wish to see your mate then you have no other choice.” The Incubus said. He was starting to look annoyed.

“There’s always a choice.” I state. “What if I refuse to join you? What happens if I say no?”

“Then in a years time the shadow creatures and demons will have become strong enough to take over this world and we’ll all cease to exist.” The Vampire said.

“What are your guy’s names? Before we agree to anything you must first answer that.”

“I’m Malverick.” The Vampire stated.

“Julianna.” Said they Faerie

“We’re Lilliana and Luca,” the Succubus stated.

“Care to share your names as well?” The incubus asked.

“I’m Aiden, Alpha of Black Fire and this is my Beta and Mate Melody of Black Fire and my future Luna and Mate Sierra of Black Fire and the new Alpha of White Moon.” Aiden introduced the three of us and he put his arms over our shoulders holding us close to him. I could tell he was being a bit territorial.

“Well now that we have introductions out of the way, we really should get a movie on. We only have a year to be ready to face this darkness head on.” Malverick concluded.
