Callie's POV
Why?
What did I do that made him reject me? Am I ugly? Does he hate my personality? Well, I don't think it's that, we had just met each other. My birthday was supposed to be amazing but in fact it was the worst. That morning I woke up, I was the happiest person alive. My mate laid next to me, me safely wrapped up in his arms, but then he woke up.
He saw the position we were in and grimaced. I was confused at first, seeing him slip out of bed and begin to walk away. I couldn't help but jump up and run after him. I grabbed his hand, making him flinch and snatch his hand away from me. Hurt stabbed at my heart but I held it back, well until he spoke the words.
