MURDERER OR ASSASSIN

Formal Goodbye

"Hey, thanks for saving me back then", I said.

"That's Fine, What's your name by the way?".

"Eren...Eren del", I replied,

I wanted to ask him that why did he kill the man and how or who was he. But, it was none of my business so I let it be.

"Here", He said by passing the black shiny card.

I took the card, it had the symbol of a picture of a mountain on it "What's this?".

"In case if you want to kill someone please contact us, since now I know you we'll give you 30% off!", He said.

"Till then GOODBYE!", He left.

The next morning, I opened the newspaper on the very first page it had news that the mayor of the city was missing, the news further said that it's expected the mayor has been kidn*pped. But, even so, the police and media couldn't come to any decision cause the mayor was missing right from his house. The camera footage showed that the last person to enter the mayor's house was a boy around 20-21 age. The news worried me, Could it be him? I thought. No, it's definitely him. Who else could do that? Besides he's an assassin. But, why would someone kill the mayor?

I took out that card he gave. It had nothing on it just a symbol of the mountain on it. So, I browsed on the internet about the assassin but, the result was nothing about them. I browsed more and more but every time the result was the same. All the data were useless. 

So, I searched about the Kuroi family even that didn't help me. I searched on google, quora, and even youtube. It was like the Kuroi family didn't even exist. 

I guess their identity must be very confidential. Great, he gave me the card but did tell me how to use this.

Huh, what should I do now if I don't do something quickly the police will probably catch me. Should, I leave this city, or am I just thinking too much. There is no way they could reach me. I was on my deep thought think what step should I take.

 And, then there was a knock on my door. The strike was so hard that it already gave me the feeling that it's not someone's usual and also my all family was at home so there was no reason to hope that it wasn't them.

I opened the door it was 'Max' and his group who messed with me yesterday with a man 6 feet tall standing behind. He pointed his finger at me and said this is him. 

"This is what you get by messing with us", Max said.

The guy from behind called me "you need to come with us".

His tough muscular body and flat face made him look like something. I didn't say anything cause I don't want my family to be in trouble or want them to be a part of this. So, I just did as he said. We sat in the car, he drove out of the city. He took the dirt road, I asked him that where he was taking me and who he was. He just replied that "Soon you'll know".  

After a while ago, he stopped the car. It was an old warehouse in the middle of the jungle I didn't know whether it was their hideout or something else. We entered the area the whole place was dark, only the sunlight was entering from a single window. 

"WELCOME EREN DEL!", a voice from shadows.

'Who are you and why to bring me here and what do you want from me?", I asked.

"I know that you know where the mayor is, don't you?", He said.

"Look, I have no idea about this," I said. 

"Yesterday you were with him, that friend of yours, where is he?".

He asked me about Raven and all minor to major details that how I met him and who was he, where he would be. I don't want to any chance and also it doesn't matter if I tell him everything about yesterday. So, I told him everything about the dead body I found and how Raven burnt the body. They asked me what was the cause of death. I told them about how his neck was stabbed. They asked me where they could find him. I told them everything except about his family name. He helped me so I too wanted to help him in any possible condition I could, I thought the guy who was able to s*******r the mayor of the city all on his own. Why someone like that would need my help still I played dumb about his family name. I showed him the card Raven gave to me and even told me that his card was the key to find him. 

After a while, he said that it's not the mayor he was after, it's was the ring the mayor was wearing they were after. He asked me whether I know, anything about the ring. 

I remembered when I grabbed the hand of the body, I touched every inch of the hand to identify whether it was an actual body or just a dummy. His hand, were empty when I touched him. So, I told him as it was.

"Very well then now you shall find the ring for me", "after all now you are the part of this". He said.

"Find it and I'll leave you. You've seven days if, by that time you didn't find it, I won't kill you but instead, I'll prove that it was you who killed the mayor. You will be punished for a crime you never did".
