AGAIN

Chapter 1...

Sitted beside the window trying to take in the last of it's kind,air so calm you could literally taste the warmness left behind by the setting sun,but cant deny the fact that It was accompanied by the crispy chill that always seems to announce the start of a new season.

Can't believe this feeling is about to end, even thou it's always a reminder that my birthday is right around the corner.

A normal teenager would be thrilled,much more a girl,but I just wasn't feeling it this time,even thou I have my friends here ransacking pinterest in a quest to pick out a dress for my birthday.

Summer just ended,but my stress has just began.

Few days to my birthday and my friends can't seem to realise I still have few days,few days,not like the birthday is tomorrow or something.I mean I know the plan has been going on for over a month,it just seems too intense as the day draws closer,I would actually opt for a no party birthday this year but my friends wont hear the end of it,I'm sure Kyra would actually kill me if I say that again.

"Hey Syd,I found a dress that might look good on you",Kyra ran to me,hands extended holding her phone out,its a miracle the phone wasn't slapped to my face with the speed she appeared with..

"Ky,that's the fourth dress already,obviously I wont wear four dresses on my Birthday, its a one day thing,yeah??"

"Well we still need to go to school in the morning, dinner with your parents in the evening and then something hotter for our own party,you dont plan on wearing one dress to all these places,do you??Amy interjected,sharing a High Five with Kyra like they just made a strong point

"You guys make a point,but that's three places,so three different dresses should do,you just found a fourth,I stomped my feet on the ground like a child,mostly because i know this fourth dress means a trip to the mall,and we never seem to settle for just a dress when ever we go there.

"I thought you girls live for these things Syd,why do we have to always force you to do fun things,its like you are scared of being happy Tony asked for the umpteenth time

"That's seems to be your go to word when ever we are trying to get Syd to do something, Amy retorted,rolling her eyes at him

"Seems to always do the magic,doesn't it Josh? Tony asked waiting for that backup he always gets from Josh.

"Yea yea,you all act like we are reciting an already scripted play..

Syd,we will go down to the mall first thing in the morning..

Tony, pick Amy up by 9:00 while i get Syd and Kyra

We should all be at the mall b4 9:30

Gives us enough time to argue,search and decide on a particular dress b4 nightfall.

I watched Josh do what he knows how to do best,he's always the Mom in the group, making plans and fixing schedule like a professional I know he would one day be...

What now Syd,no more argument ,Josh and Tony barked at the same time. We all went silent looking from one person to the other before the laughter I knew was coming erupted in the room.

Felt like the barracks in here for a minute,I managed to get out amidst the laughter and tears fighting for which one I was going for...But I just wanted to say how much I love you guys..

"We know,and we love you too,now remember the time we head out tomorrow, no excuses...Josh replied while coming in for a hug or maybe my life as his hugs always has a way of leaving us breathless...

"How about we talk about today then,Sydney, pleaseee, cant you just set aside your Beef with Ethan for a day and come with us to his party today,we all know its the biggest party of the summer and also the biggest party b4 school resumes, I need to unwind and let my tensed muscles free,Amy put on her best puppy face while giving the others sign to support her plea.

Sure,why not,I butt in,cutting Tony off his support speech and leaving the group mopping at me like i just told them i was pregnant

"I mean I heard yes,but I feel like that's not what she said,Amy replied Josh's question,looking as shocked,if not more shocked than Josh.

"Well,if ya'll want me to say "No" I can do that,too,stop looking like I just said an unbelievable thing.

"You actually said an unbelievable thing that's why we are all clearly shocked,this is the easiest we've ever had an argument with you,Kyra shrugged,looking like she expects me to say I was kidding.

"It's not like I dont attend parties,I'm a party butterfly,so what's soo shocking about me going to this party??I asked,even thou I know what the fuss was about.
