I knew today was going to be a long one. I looked at my alarm clock, it told me that it was nearly five in the morning. Two hundred and twenty pack members from Raylan’s pack will be here this afternoon. Raylan called me from his cell phone and told me it was a close call.
The numbers changed to five and instantly a very annoying beep filled the room. I hit the clock to get it to shut up and accidentally smashed it. “Oops.” I said out loud.
I flipped onto my back and slowly sat up, I wasn’t even out of my bed when there was a knock on the door. “Yes?” I could already smell my gamma.
