The Return of Anika Guleria ❄️
Outside the small airport of Manali, amidst the hustle and bustle, Kunal asked the girl in front of him, “Miss… miss, at least tell me your name?”
The girl—calm and composed—took off her black sunglasses and looked at him with a piercing, icy glare. Her voice was low, firm, and devoid of emotion.
“Anita Guleria.”
Kunal froze. The name didn’t match the elegant beauty standing before him. Confused, he wondered why such a stunning girl would call herself “Anita.” But before he could speak further, she pointed toward a taxi board behind him.
“You're here to pick up Guleria, right?” she asked.
Kunal turned, and sure enough, the name on the driver’s board matched. He realized with embarrassment that the girl was merely reading the sign.
Without giving Kunal another glance, the girl entered the taxi, and it zoomed off in front of him. For a moment, Kunal felt disappointed—but then, a plan clicked in his mind.
He turned to the driver, “Quick—follow that taxi. Don’t let her know she’s being followed. I need to know where she’s staying.”
The driver nodded and took off.
Meanwhile, inside the car, the younger girl Riya was lost in her video game with headphones on. Her boyish look—short hair, a cap, oversized T-shirt—could fool anyone into thinking she was a young boy. Yet, in the gaming world, she was known as “Sweet Angel,” a rising star.
Anika sat beside her, silently wondering if bringing Riya to Manali was the right decision.
Her phone buzzed. It was her father, Gautam. He had called multiple times already. Without answering, she silenced the phone and leaned back, eyes closed, preparing herself mentally—for what, even she wasn’t sure.
An hour later, her taxi pulled into the gates of Paradise International, Manali’s most prestigious five-star hotel. Behind her, the car that had been following was stopped at the entrance—Kunal’s spy couldn’t follow any further.
The bellboy greeted Anika and took her luggage. “Your suite is on the top floor, ma’am—Presidential Suite.”
Inside the lift, he added, “Only two apartments up there. One is yours. The other belongs to the hotel’s owner, Mr. Rohit Marwah.”
The lift doors opened on the 24th floor. It was serene—more peaceful than Anika had even known in her own home. She was escorted to the grand suite, which had a majestic view of the mountains.
Riya, now tired, curled up and fell asleep on the bed. Anika lovingly covered her with a blanket.
Suddenly, her phone vibrated again—it was her father. She stepped outside the bedroom before answering.
The moment she picked up, Gautam’s voice thundered.
“What kind of behavior is this, Anita? Kunal waited for you for two hours at the airport. Where the hell are you?”
Anika replied calmly, “I’m coming,” and hung up. But his voice had shaken her.
Even after all the hurt, he was still her father. And she was seeing him for the first time in six years.
She locked the room and waited by the lift. That’s when her assistant, Rajlakshmi, called.
“Good morning, ma’am! Hope your flight was comfortable. Did you get your 8 hours of sleep?”
Anika rolled her eyes. “You tell me that every day. What now?”
Rajlakshmi hesitated, then said, “There’s a request from business tycoon Rohit Marwah. He wants you—Dr. Amrita—to treat his grandmother. He’s in Manali too. Should I schedule the appointment?”
Anika’s voice turned cold.
“No. People like him only pretend to care about elders. Their real motive is inheritance or business. I want nothing to do with it. And don’t forget—I’m on leave.”
Rajlakshmi, both her assistant and close friend, chuckled, “Okay, okay! But just so you know, Rohit Marwah is handsome, successful, and very much single. A little romance won’t kill you!”
Anika laughed and said, “If he wants a doctor, let him meet ‘Dr. Amitabh.’ No one here knows me as Amrita. Here, I’m Anika Guleria.”
She ended the call. The lift arrived. As she stepped in, she turned around—and froze.
Standing behind her… was Riya.
But how? Anika had locked the room.
She kneeled down, kissed her cheeks lovingly, and whispered, “Mama will be back soon with your favorite chocolate ice cream, okay?”
She sent Riya—or who she thought was Riya—back to the room. But something felt… off.
As she turned, the door of the suite opposite opened. A man stepped out.
He was tall, sharp, impeccably dressed in black shoes, white shirt, and blazer. Handsome enough to be royalty.
He was Rohit Marwah.
He scolded the child beside the lift, “Aryan! How many times have I told you not to leave the room without telling me?”
Anika had kissed that child, thinking it was Riya. But he wasn’t Riya.
He was Aryan, Rohit’s only son.
And here’s the strange part: Aryan and Riya were lookalikes—practically twins.
Meanwhile, Rohit noticed Aryan behaving unusually cheerful and social. Concerned, he checked CCTV footage of the hallway and was stunned.
Aryan, normally shy, had allowed a strange woman close to him… had even let her kiss him.
Who was that woman? Rohit’s curiosity deepened.

Scene Shift: Guleria House
Anika arrived at her childhood home. Once dilapidated, it was now stunning. Lights, music, laughter—it was her stepsister Kamini’s birthday party.
Among the guests, someone had fallen—her cousin Priti. Girls were mocking her. Kamini was showing Anika’s old photo and laughing, “Can you believe she thinks this fatso is prettier than me?”
Humiliated, Priti defended Anika. But Kamini wasn’t done.
She burned Anika’s photo and mixed the ashes into a juice, saying, “Now, as punishment, you must drink this!”
Before Priti could be forced, a hand stopped Kamini.
Anika.
The once-overweight girl everyone mocked was now graceful, confident—and beautiful.
Kamini stood frozen. This couldn't be Anika.
But it was.
She defended Priti and challenged Kamini. When Kamini had everyone vote on who was prettier, the crowd stood silent—everyone could see the truth.
Kamini tried to save face, but Anika turned the tables.
“You want punishment, right? Then drink the juice.”
Kamini knocked the glass away. Gautam and Manisha arrived and Kamini played the victim. “She ruined my party! She's jealous of me!”
Without letting Anika speak, Gautam scolded her. “Enough! Come inside. I need to talk.”
Inside, he placed two documents on the table.
Divorce papers.
And…
Property transfer papers—for Anika to give her pharmaceutical company to Kamini as a wedding gift.
Anika stood silent. She signed the divorce papers.
Then picked up the second set, looked Gautam in the eye, and said,
“I’m sorry. This company is all I have. I can’t give it to you.”
Gautam was stunned. For the first time, Anika had said “no.”
Outside, Kamini intercepted her.
“You think Kunal will not marry me without your company? He likes me, not you!”
Anika smiled coolly, “Then go ahead. Marry him. But the company is mine.”
Kamini screamed, “You think you’re prettier now? Please! I’ll always be better looking, smarter, and Kunal would never choose you again!”
Just then, Kunal’s voice echoed from outside, “Where’s that fatso? Made me wait two hours!”
Kamini’s face turned pale.
Anika?
She just smiled.
