When she enters the Sit Room, Margaret does a double-take. The Chiefs have pulled up interactive maps on the monitors and posted strategic military positions for both land and sea. When they see her, they stand at attention.
“Gentlemen, at ease.” She looks around the room, breaks a smile, and nods to each of the Chiefs. “I’m impressed. It appears we’re ready to begin. Before doing so, I’d like to offer a few thoughts and then have O’Neil explain what occurred at the close of day yesterday and what happened today.
