There were low murmurs as Alexander entered the room. Conversation died as he moved to the front of the gathering with Kaison close behind him. It was unusual for the gamma to accompany him. Generally, it was Nathan at his side to keep the meetings focused, but for this one, Kaison was indispensable.
Alexander sighed as he waited for the last of the alphas to find a seat. A few remained standing, which was fine. Some didn’t like being crowded. The Wolf Nations alphas sat together, conversing with their neighbors. They would become integral to the conversation, so it was good to have them at the head of the table.
“Thank you for coming here today,” Alexander announced. “I know it’s difficult for all of us to be apart from our lunas, so we’ll make this as quick as possible.”
