I laughed, thinking he joked. I found no humour on his face. I pushed away from him, scrambling about for a mirror. When I found one, my heart fell. My irises were a deep and dark red, not much different from Mikhail’s. "What is happening to me?" I asked in a low tone, to no one in particular. Mikhail came to stand beside me, prying the mirror out of my shaky hands. "It may be the poison." He said but how could he be sure? None of us knew what we were doing. The only person who knew wanted me dead. Wanted us dead. Remembering that made my fists clench at my sides. Mikhail took my fists in his, turning me to face him. "I think they will fade. I am certain it will fade." He held my eyes. Eyes that were not mine. I shivered, feeling like an alien stuck in my body. Who are you? What
