51 THE APPEARANCE IS NOT SINCERE

After a few days of being attacked by these motorcyclists, Lionel was still intrigued because he didn’t know the identity of his rescuers, it hadn’t been for them, his life would have ended on that trip, so he had to find out where they had come from. those men since Elsa also had no knowledge of men.

"Larson what's wrong?". Elsa asked.

"It doesn't seem strange to me what happened to us the other day". Lionel answered very seriously.

"You mean those men who saved us and disappeared or the kidnappers?".

"I mean the men who helped us, I can't explain where those men came from, if your father didn't send them to rescue you, I don't know who could have done it".

“Larson, don't you think what matters is that we are safe? I’m grateful to our saviors, but for that, I won’t think insistently about that event. Believe me, it was something terrible for me, I still feel guilty that you have almost died, you only wanted to help me and that I do is bring you problems". Said Elsa saddened by the latest events that had happened to her.

Meanwhile, Lionel was at the bar talking to Beau.

"Beau, I still don't understand how this situation became so chaotic".

"You say chaotic because you weren’t the savior, you should be grateful that those motorcyclists didn’t kill you".

"And I’m grateful that I wasn’t killed, but it still seems incredible to me that strangers have appeared out of nowhere to save us".

"You are safe brother; I think that is the most important thing".

"I want to know who those mysterious saviors. I need the gang members to help me investigate”.

"You're crazy Cheetah, we don't know if those men will tolerate our investigation". Beau replied.

"Come on Beau, I just want to know who they are. Nothing else".

“Let's make a deal then, I'll send a couple of gang members to help you investigate, and if in a week they can't find data, you forget to find out. Deal?".

"I assure you; I’ll find some clue that will lead me to my saviors". Lionel replied.

Beau proceeded to call his most trusted gang members to assist Lionel with his investigation. The first thing they did was review the recordings of the town that night, although, in that part of the road where they were, there were no cameras, the rescuers must have entered through a street that if they had the surveillance of the cameras, therefore, the gang members were in charge of reviewing the recordings of all the cameras of the town, Lionel gave them clear indications that if they saw a group of men with military pickup trucks, they would notify him to review the recordings.

The gang members had been watching the videos for several hours without finding the people with the characteristics that Lionel had given, they were about to end, when suddenly in the images a couple of men appeared who entered the town on pickup trucks that didn’t look like that. in the picture but agreed with certain parts of Larson's description.

"Larson look at this". Said one of the gang members.

Lionel immediately went to look at the recording.

"They are". He said, shocked. "But why don't those pickup trucks look different?".

"It’s because of the boss paint, that type of paint is used by some government organizations so that it isn’t easily detected".

"Who are your saviors?" Beau said in surprise.

“Nothing more and nothing less than LICB agents. And they weren't saving me, they were saving their boss… Mary”.
